Groove and Move: Learning Champeta and Salsa with Fantastic Instructors! - Our group of five were greeted with tasty drinks, and learned about champeta & got a chance to practice it (as well as salsa). The instructors were very friendly and did a great job teaching. They provided plenty of examples and chances for us to practice several combinations of moves. The time went by quickly because we were having so much fun!

Book Now. You will love it!! - This was an amazing experience. This will be my second time booking with this company. The first time was the Tour to Palenge. I did not want to leave Cartagena without booking the dance class. Jesus,Nader, Yury, and Bryan were very patient and fun. I got a great work out , amazing welcome drink and the vibe was excellent! This is your sign to go ahead and book this wonderful experience. Thank you Black Legacy.

Loved It! - I highly recommend this experience. Black Legacy is an organization of thoughtful and passionate individuals who provide a great deal of knowledge and history of Afro-Colombian culture in Cartagena through a fun experience. It is an opportunity to connect Black Colombian history and popular cultures as well as shared Diasporic experiences.

Incredibly beautiful, fun & informative experienc - Nader, Brian and Jesus were INCREDIBLE!!! The experience was sooo fun, yet also very informative about the history of champeta and cultural roots of different types of dances. We had a group of 9 for a bachelorette and the bride to be cried because she was so happy with the experience and how special it was. We laughed, danced, drank and learned SO MUCH!!! I couldn’t recommend this more. Everyone should do this while in Cartagena. Also the views from the rooftop was very beautiful! 😍💜

A great experience for young and old - What a great experience. Jesus and his group were great. We learned a number of dances, my hubby was reluctant at first but he thoroughly enjoyed it. Great value for money. A tip for the future: it should only cost 10 dollars each way from the cruise port. We got ripped off for 35 dollars from the port, but only 10 on way back (fyi - this is not down to the organisers of the dance class). They were awesome.

Amazing experience - This proved to be a surprising experience. The instructor's vibrant energy was enjoyable, but what truly captivated us was the fascinating history shared about champeta and Salsa. The atmosphere was laid-back with a pleasant view, and we ended up dancing quite a bit. If you're a dance enthusiast seeking something unique, this is worth exploring. Thank you all!!
