Donning aprons and chef hats, we’ll dive into the art of cooking, starting with crafting coconut rice from the ground up (which will later be served in our restaurant). Next, we’ll whip up crispy patacones, followed by a local favorite, panela water. Our journey continues with Cartagena’s quintessential fish dish: Mojarra roja al papillon, a recipe cherished by our forebears. As the fish cooks, we’ll take a moment to sway to the region’s traditional music, as our chef is also a dance enthusiast! Finally, we’ll tackle empanadas, mastering the dough and fillings. To cap off our culinary adventure, we’ll savor the fruits of our labor in the restaurant, sharing our cooking stories and fostering new friendships!

Cooking class in Cartagena - This was a very fun and unique experience! The food was absolutely delicious. Great instruction and you get a copy of the recipe so you can make this traditional delight at home.

Memorable experience! - I went with my family and we loved it!
The chef and translator were friendly and professional. They truly made us feel comfortable. The instructions were very instructive and detail oriented and the ingredients were clean and healthy. The food was great and tasted even better because you make it yourself and know exactly what’s in it! They also shared a QR code for the meals we cooked towards the end. We highly recommend to everyone!

Amazing Cooking Class!! - Such an amazing experience! Our chef and translator were friendly, knowledgeable and really had the entire class interact and participate in the whole cooking experience. The group we did it with was so much fun! Highly recommend this class for a fun night of cooking and dancing!!

Enjoyable cooking class in a family owned restaurant - Excellent cooking class. The chef explained everything clearly. The guide was very helpful. We learned to cook simple home meals which we will try out at home. Would highly recommend.

Awesome Class!! - I loved it!!! It was so fun!! It was kinda long but so worth it ! We cooked an entire meal and made a traditional drink! Of course we got to eat it. The chef was awesome and the person talking to the class!
