Highly recommended! - Nancy is an excellent tour guide! Her passion for history and the nature of Colombia is infectious. She does a great job at pointing out details in Cartagena’s architecture, explaining their significance, and weaving together a story of the city’s colonial past that incorporates hierarchical class divisions, war and conquest, and ghosts rising from the Caribbean Sea. She also touches on the importance of Colombia’s biodiversity to the future of the country, and the world as a whole, as we passed by gardens and palm trees. Even though I don’t know that much Spanish Nancy was very patient with me (I decided to take the tour in Spanish as I’m learning it while I travel in Colombia!) Thanks for the stories and awesome tour Nancy!!

Cartagena City Walking Tour - Nancy Paola was a fantastic guide for a walking tour through the city. She was very knowledgeable, entertaining and enthusiastic. It was one of the highlights of our trip to Cartagena. Thank you!

Scam if you don't speak Spanish - I am not sure if the previous reviews are real, but if they are, it means the tours were not in English. I bought this tour because it is advertised as a tour with an English speaking guide. Nancy speaks very little English, not even enough to properly explain very basic things. When she communicated with me via messages prior to the tour, they were written in good English, so we had no idea until we met, when she said she is learning English and considered this tour as her english-learning experience!!! When we declined to continue as we just wanted to have a normal tour on our only available day, she offered to call another guide. A few minutes later a guide came, he charged us the double amount, but we had to stop after a few minutes. Although his English was better, it was very hard to understand him and his knowledge and guiding were very poor. We had to stop after a few minutes and leave. This was in a huge contrast with a fantastic tour of Cartagena outside walled city we had the day before and a wonderful food tour we had a day after. We had hundreds of tours all over the world and this the worst experience.
