Exceptional guide! - Pedro is an excellent guide and I highly recommend him for your tours in Portugal. He is the most courteous and accommodating person to guide the tours and I learned so much from his vast knowledge of Cascais and the surrounding national park area. I will look forward to touring with him again!

Best Local Tour of Cascais and it's surrounding area! - My mother and I visited Portugal earlier in July 2018 and I signed us up for this tour operated by Waving Portugal. This was the best decision we had made. Not only did the owner, Pedro, offer to pick my mother and I up from our hotel in Sintra (for a mere €10 - much cheaper than an Uber ride), but he allowed us to put our luggage in the car during the tour (we were leaving for Lisbon that same day). Since no one else had signed up for this tour, my mother and I had a private tour guide! Additionally another tour guide, Victoria, joined us on this tour. It was the best that my mother and I could've asked for. Pedro had us hike a little ways to this lookout point on the top of a mountain overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, Cascais, and a monastery. It was the best. I thoroughly enjoyed being up there and enjoying the view. I didn't want to come back down! We also drove up the coastal area towards Cabo da Roca, which was amazing! The sand dunes and lunch right by the beach was just lovely. We also walked a little bit around the town of Cascais and was able to enjoy the beautiful scenery and weather! Pedro and Victoria were amazing tour guides who are knowledgeable about the area and of Portugal. Pedro himself is a local of the area of Cascais and knew much about the history and area of Cascais and of Portugal. He drove us to areas that I would never have dreamed of going to and he knew the local roads inside and out. Victoria was very knowledgeable about Portugal and was a great help to my mother, who had some difficulty towards the end of the tour (she was getting tired). I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to experience local life in Cascais and see all that it has to offer! Thank you Pedro and Victoria. Waving Portugal is awesome!!
