Alongside a sprawling beach with sandy stretches and a stunning estuarine environment that serves as a pivotal ecosystem within the Sado Natural Reserve that houses a community of dolphins. Before making our way to the beach of Comporta, we will pause briefly for a cup of coffee. Upon arriving, we will linger for a few hours, soaking up the sun, sand, and sea. We then press on, heading towards the coveted Sado estuary, including an exploration of the renowned and picturesque ‘Cais Palafitico’. Additionally, the area is a hub for the cultivation of rice and salt. Post lunch, we will cast our eyes upon the historic Alcácer do Sal town and the fishing settlement of Setúbal.
