Fabulous trip - Fabulous trip to Bolgheri, hosted & driven by Maurizio who was very knowledgeable on the local history and for us particularly on the wines of the area. Had a wine tasting first at Tentuta di Vaira which was brilliant followed by lunch at Enoteco Tognoni, fantastico! Highly recommended

Great drive and tour through Bolgheri - Maurizio was very pleasant and easy to deal with to make arrangements. He picked us up right at the appointed time at the cruise port and took us for a day of wine touring in Bolgheri. He was very informative about the area being a local and the food and wine. We made it to all our appointment, lunch and back to the ship on time. For English speakers, his English is impeccable. I highly recommend spending the day with Maurizio.

Delightful tour on a tempestuous day - Maurizio picked us up at our ship. Friendly and raring to go. Drove to Volterra and Bolgieri. Storm and rain made for a difficult day but Marizio was able to satisfy everyone's idea of a fine countryside tour. Each town was engulfed in torrential rain. Difficult at best. We were able to get out for a short while and shop a little. Maurizio's driving ability was exceptional as the roads were slick and very winding. Hills etc. He kept us entertained with his knowledge of the region. Every question was answered expertly. The highlight was our trip to a small winery for lunch and tasting. Food served was home made from local products and very tasty and indigenous to the region. The wines were free poured. If you drank all you need to be carried out. Matched the food well. Nice locale for the lunch. Even bought a couple of bottles. Yummy. Drive back to the ship was also fun even so he had to be aware of the road conditions, he was able to carry on conversation with everyone. His van had a good sound system and all were happy. I would highly recommend Tuscany Taste Tours for any tours in that region. He also does tours to Pompeii etc. I use him anytime I am in Italy.
