- Oasi del Simeto - In this place it is possible to visit a part of the front line, along the path of the Simeto oasis, where it is possible to admire the area of naturalistic interest and the buildings with still the writings of the fascist era, today the seat of the reserve.

Tremendous Experience - Alberto D’Algata was a superb tour guide. He was extremely knowledgeable about the events leading up to, during and after the battle of primosole bridge. He took us to the exact location that fighting occurred and pointed out in great detail how the campaign was won and then lost. He is possibly the most knowledgeable and comprehensive tour guide I have worked with. Great, great day with Alberto.

Should have a different title - For me, this was a fascinating day. I have studied operation husky, the 1943 invasion, so it was really interesting. I was very lucky to have Marco, my guide, on a 1 to 1, and he was excellent, punctual and good company.
However, I feel that the title of the tour could be misleading. There is very little to see at the sight of the original bridge, so imagination is important. This tour is all about the invasion and battles in this
area, finishing at the very understated but excellent museum.
So I have only given a 3 star. Just so people know what to expect.
