Guided tour of the historic city center.
On this tour you will be introduced to Rio de Janeiro within its historical context. Focusing on architecture and multicultural traditions, which define a unique way of being and living the ‘carioca’.
We will walk towards the knowledge and traditions of the City. We will visit squares, churches, and historic sites. There will be the possibility of stopping for lunch, which is not included in the price of the tour. You will spend a maximum of 10 USD per person. We will pass by souvenir shops where the purchase will be optional.
We will wait for you for this adventure through the streets of Rio de Janeiro.

A well run and informative tour with our guide Lucemir. Would highly recommend! - The tour was very interesting and informative, we went around many locations in the historical center of Rio, the guide Lucemir showed us the historical sites and told us in detail about each of them and also told us the history of the city. The guide Lucemir has a deep knowledge of the history of Rio de Janeiro and Brazil, it was very interesting to listen to him.

Interesting tour with historical context - Very interesting tour and great insight into how Rio has evolved over the years. To cover those important places, and some nice views, one needs a knowledgeable guide, like Lucemir. The old centre of Rio is not easy to navigate and cover safely as a tourist, but also to have the relevant historic context for the buildings, including churches, explained by a local makes the sites, makes all the difference.

Choose Lucemir as your guide, you'll not be dissatisfied. - Lucemir is the guide to choose when you want to see the downtown Rio de Jan. Lucemir knows people downtown well and take to very interesting places in historical Rio. He is talks many languages is well educated and takes care of your well beings. Great Historic Center Experience! - The Historic Center tour with Lucemir was fantastic! It ended up just being him and I for the afternoon. We covered a lot of steps and all the key sites. Lucemir told me the history and interesting facts as we went along. He also took tons of pictures for me with his professional camera. Highly recommend an afternoon away from the beach to explore the historic sits and older part of Rio with Lucemir!

Río de Janeiro is an amazing city with so much history -- A must visit - Lucemir was extremely knowledgeable about his city and passionate about showing you the city and highlights you probably would not have discovered on your own. He knows the way to navigate the city and feel safe and secure because theft is a major concern. You can see so much more by going with Lucimer. He is also an exceptional photographer and will ensue you get the best photos.
