Day 3 - Tilad Do to Shingra Koma (10,390 to 10,550 ft. Trek 10 kms)
Day 4 - Shingra Koma to Tibb Cave (10,550 to 10,760 ft.
Trek through Zanskar (15 km approx) Overnight stay in tents
Day 5 - Tibb cave to Naerak camp (10,760 to 11,150 ft. Trek 12.5 kms

Chadar Trek, also known as the Frozen Zanskar River Trek. A snowy spectacle blanketing every peak and hill of the region and ice-covered paths. Experience the grandeur of Mother Nature in all of her winter glory. Simultaneously thrilling and chilling, it is a haven for adventurers and lovers of mankind alike.
The term ‘Chadar’ in Hindi translates to ‘a blanket’. The Zanskar River freezes over in the intense winter, creating the image of a giant ice blanket, giving the trek its name. Heavy snowfall restricts access to certain isolated villages, leaving the Chadar Trek as their only connection to the outside world.
Throughout your journey, towering canyons flank both sides of the path. The canyon walls often become a necessary support for traversing the swift, icy river. The trail is heavily snow-covered and at the end of the day, stay overnight in tents pitched on the iced surface or inside historic caves.
