- Delphi - Depart Athens with a friendly escort (archaeologist) by bus from the Halandri Metro station and reach Delphi that rises between two terraced rocks, the Fedriades. Delphi is considered the “navel of the earth” and the center of the wisdom of ancient Greek civilization. It was the holiest site of ancient Greek hosting the Oracle of Delphi with the priory of Olympian god Apollo, Pythia who transferred the prediction of the god to the humans. Explore the Oracle of Delphi and drink water from the sacred Castalia spring. If you are lucky, who knows maybe Pythia’s ancient spirit reveals you the future! Walk around the archaeological site with the unique findings such as the Treasure of the Athenians, the Dome of Athens Foresight, the Temple of Apollo, the ruins of Ancient Stadium and the Theater of Delphi.
- Delphi Archaeological Museum - Then, visit the modern archaeological museum of Delphi. The archaeological findings are kept in the museum from the Archaic to the Roman era, with impressive artifacts such as the Iniohos, the Sphinx of the Naxians and the statue of Antinoos. Delphi is not only history as it is also known for the gastronomy. So enjoy a gastronomy break with delicious homemade greek foodies.
- Arachova - We depart to Athens at around 15:00 making a stop in the beautiful village of Arachova to capture the enchanting landscape. Arachova is located right on the foothills of Mount Parnassus and is a very famous winter resort for the habitants of central Greece.
We are back at about 17:30 at the Smart-Eco-Pickup of AMMON EXPRESS, the Halandri metro Station.

Great value and tour - Tour guide was excellent. Her English was great and very informative. Although out of the way, the start and drop off location was really good since it is faster to get around on the metro than driving. The lunch location in Arachova was wonderful-one of our best meals in Greece.

A worthy way to spend the day out of Athens... - We were late, traffic in Athens is really bad... so please take the metro! however, they waited for us. Sorry to my fellow tourists. The guide was well verse with the myths and history. We had a lovely time. The road is terrible, I hope i could drive there myself, but the driver is very gentle and quite a safe driver.

Delphi, Arachova, and Giorgi - Giorgi, our guide, was phenomenal. Informative, warm, and humorous. Shared a lot of information about the history and mythology of the sites visited, as well as Greek culture more broadly. Sufficient time given for each site - neither of which need evaluation! A highlight of this trip.

Delphi magic in May - Incredible views and history! Tour guide was very knowledgeable and helpful. We were able to explore at our own pace and take many photos. May is a great time to go as the weather is getting warmer but not hot, plus there are lots of spring flowers dotted around the sites making it pretty and magical!

Best day of the holiday! - Great day!! The views were amazing and Delphi was out of this world! Our bus was very comfortable and our English speaking guide was excellent. One of the best days of our holiday. Arachova is a beautiful town to stop in. Wonderful day, cannot recommend it enough!!!!!

Worth it! - An excellent day well worth doing. Our guide Giarggi (very loose guess at spelling) was super helpful, friendly and knowledgeable and the day ran very smoothly. So good to be able to see more of Greece so easily and to see the special site of Delphi.
