One of the best days in our lifes - I didint recognize myself in all the negative reviews i've read here. After reading some of them we were ready to meet dirty toilets, unmanagable crowd, terrible food, rude staff etc. But our experiense was quite the opposite. Very clean and pleasant toilets, never saw a line there. Lines to attractions were managable, the longest we had was 50 min. (Thats the top season) By the end of the day many lines were downt to 5-15 min waiting. The ghost house, fantasy land and actually all attractions we took were amazing. Staff is polite, always trying their best. Ice cream at gelateria on the corner of main street was the best i've tasted. The price was 5,50 euros for 3 big scoops. We also had some ice cream by the Alice in Wonderland labyrinth. It was 7 euros, wasnt as good but just fine. All cafes were clean and nice. The park is very well maintained, lots of flowers, attention to details. It was really fairytale land. Thank you very much for one of the best memories for our family.

Pregnant & treated like a VIP - I visited at 18 weeks pregnant & was treated like a VIP! I got my pregnancy wristband from the hotel reception (Newport Bay) & I took my notes for evidence. Myself & my group (4 adults & 2 children) got to queue jump all the rides. I was able to get on a majority of the rides except from the big thrill rides. Basically most of the rides are at your own discretion, but after researching myself, I was happy that I felt safe & my bump was still small. We also got priority access to shows & received times to come back & meet characters to save us queuing. This all saved us so so much time & meant we had the loveliest experience. Thank you Disneyland Paris for being so kind & inclusive. We had the most magical time.

Beautiful park, superb shows! - Park visited solo over 2 days on July 24 and 25. Big negative: the lack of signs indicating where to go to find the different lands and attractions... You have to manage with the plan, not always obvious, I wasted a lot of time finding some attractions or theater. Another negative: the Indiana Jones coaster, not comfortable at all (head banging in the seat on the sides). Other small negative bridges: the Pirates of the Caribbean queue, much, much too dark. In general, I found the "dark rides" (attractions like Pirates of the Caribbean, Snow White, Trips of Pinocchio, Peter Pan) too fast, which is a shame because the scenes presented are really well done, but we barely have time to enjoy them...Regarding the queues: yes, some are extremely long (hello Crush Coaster!) but in other parks (at least in Belgium) this is almost always the case. Personally being on 2 days I could enjoy the hour of magic more to be in the early hours at the park, moreover being solo I enjoyed the lines "single rider" in fact I never had to wait more than 40 minutes (except for shows, but it was a choice to be well placed). If you don't want to have to suffer from too much waiting time I recommend getting well organized, getting up very early and monitoring waiting times on the app. And obviously avoid going in the middle of the season (well I did but I was alone, and apparently it's a bit quiet for the time at the moment) There, otherwise it's a very beautiful park, the attractions are overall very nice and really intended for the whole family. It’s not for lovers of very big thrills (no giga roller coaster or anything else!) but some attractions offer good sensations (Big Thunder Mountain, Hyperspace Mountain, Tower of Terror, the awesome Rising Star Tour...) while remaining accessible to as many people as possible. In fact children as adults can find their pleasure there. Apart from the worries of the missing direction signs, park very well organized: water points to cool off, the officers are working to clean the park, the members generally friendly and dropping a little joke from time to time, it is always appreciable. Big highlight of the park: the shows, very successful. I especially recommend the one on the Lion King, which is a real success, and the Electrical Sky Parade, absolutely beautiful night show!!!!! One last point that I found positive: there was a merchant who sold some fruit on Adventure Land, very happy to buy me some apples instead of the eternal snacks, it is still better for your health, just as if not sometimes more satisfying, and more refreshing than chips!!! So it cost me very much but I absolutely do not regret my 2 days in the park. PS: if someone from Disneyland Paris reads me, I would have found it super nice to find me a souvenir stamped specifically "Rising Star Tour" (whose queue preshow is a real success, in addition to being a hyper fun Attraction) rather than just objects, toys and gadgets Rising Star Wars ...

Did not disappoint - My wife and I took our 18 month old daughter to Disneyland Paris for a couple of days and we had a great time. We got two day park tickets however didn’t stay at the resort due to the high prices. Instead, we stayed at an Airbnb next to Val D’Europe which was about a 20 minute walk from parks along a well lit street that felt very safe even after closing time (everything you need right on your door step too). First day we started in Walt Disney Studios which was overall not bad. There was enough family friendly rides to fill half a day and the Mickey and the Magician show was brilliant. I used the single rider line for the thrill rides and didn’t wait anymore than then minutes each time. Only downside is the building work that is going on certainly does take away some of the magic but we were aware of this before arriving so couldn’t complain. We then moved over to the main park for some rides and the fireworks/drone show to finish the night which was excellent. Second day we just hit the main park. Plenty to see and if you use the app it gives pretty good indication of ride times so we didn’t queue for too long (again, the single rider option for the thrill rides worked perfectly for us). Plenty of age appropriate rides for our daughter and even went on a couple twice as they had no wait times. Food is usually a contentious topic at Disney. You know it’s going to be expensive so there’s no point in highlighting that plus all the menus are available online. To balance out the cost a bit we took packed lunches for the day time and ate at restaurants for our evening meal (PYM Kitchen one night and Bella Notte the next). In PYM kitchen the food was actually pretty good and for €45 each for all you can eat I’d say the price was okay. It would certainly add up if you were feeding the family but under 3s eat free so that helped us (we didn’t have a reservation for this one as none were available on the app but we went in the morning and got a table for 6pm that evening no problem). Bella Notte in the main park was cheaper but certainly a no thrills experience. I think we were €30 for a less than impressive plate of pasta, a Mickey pizza, a drink and ice cream (best to be avoided in my opinion but if you’re going just don’t set your expectations too high). All the shops were exactly what you expect. Expensive but plenty of affordable souvenirs (best to go to the big one just across from Annette’s diner in Disney village as it has everything). It was raining quite a bit while we were there which probably kept the crowds away. We used “Paris Disney Transfers” who charged €140 return to CDG and included a car seat for our daughter (service was exceptional and great value considering the price of shuttle services or trains). Overall it was great and an affordable alternative to Disney World! We will definitely be going back when all the work is complete.

Lost some of its magic, great rides but need to do better - We came here for 3 nights staying at Art of Marvel hotel which was the highlight and really excellent (separate review). I've been twice before and had a good time. We bought the food pass (half board) and don't think I would again... the choice is very limited especially the child options; lots of boiled eggs and salad. I would opt for breakfast and then eat in Disney Village next time where there are outlets which are not run by Disney. There is a lot of work going on in the park which I didn't realise when booking. It'll be great in a few years but Disney Studios is very affected by this. A lot of the rides are broken or unreliable (Hyperspace mountain closed for our entire visit which was a disappointment for us Star Wars fans) and the queues are big. We waited 1hr 30 for Spiderweb. I asked the operator was it broken; he was very apologetic but said it was due to priority riders and there should have been an announcement. Every decent ride has a long wait time. The app does not give accurate times. It is run at high capacity, you are falling over people at times. Staff experience was variable and went from excellent to poor. You expect at Disney for all the 'cast' to be smiley and happy (that's kind of the job description). I get its a tough job dealing with customers all day but they are missing that Disney magic. The rides we did go on were, as expected, excellent and thrilling. Our hotel had an awesome pool which the kids kept asking to go back to which I think in summary says it all. I doubt we'll be back for quite a few years. Overall, a good report from kids but I couldn't get into it as I have in the past because of these issues.

Disappointed - Everything went well in the park, however some malfunctions regarding the Marvel Hotel with the room available more than 1 hour late and worry with the digital key. Big waste of time and very long wait at reception and luggage not available in room as planned. And no commercial gestures, discounts or gift cards offered as compensation. I expected better from Disneyland Paris, especially since I come several times a year to stay in Disney hotels. Even in classic hotels we have a commercial gesture following this type of problem.

A much worse experience to a decade ago - The purpose of our visit was to give my 9 year old the Disney experience. I had taken my elder daughter at the same age a decade ago. It was not as enjoyable an experience. The place is now very commercially driven and gives no customer satisfaction. The place was jam packed with people as many have already written about which totally spoiled the experience. Queue time on average 80 minutes. Kids struggle to wait that long in line. People pushing in. Extortionate prices, every time we bought 5 bottles of drinks (fizz and water), it was the best part of 30 euros. We waited in line to meet Winnie the Pooh for way over an hour, meanwhile the character went and had 3 breaks while we were waiting there in the heat also with no cover. No one cares about how long people are waiting in the heat with the kids for over an hour. There are barely any characters around the park. A decade ago, we got two autograph books full and this year we only managed to meet Winnie. I saw Peter Pan and Wendy and so followed them at pace across the park and went to join the line which was relatively short but two Disney staff members were stood there and told me they closed the line. I said I followed the characters, they’ve just got here, they said yes but we’re not staying long?! The electric night parade and fireworks were awesome but again WAY too many people. Based on this experience, we’re not going back.

Awful, will be sticking to Disney world Orlando! - Myself, partner, sister & 11 yr old niece got back last week from our first and last trip to Disney land Paris. We paid extra to stay in a club room at the sequoia lodge as included breakfast and was a short walk to the park. The hotel itself was ok, clean but desperate for an update as looking tired. Apart from reception staff all other staff at the hotel were rude as we were British and didn’t speak much French other than bonjour or merci. This was the same at the park, all the staff were rude and miserable which made an unpleasant experience, which is the complete opposite to Disney in Orlando. Also, all the toilet facilities were filthy and not once did we see any cleaning attendants, there were also really long queues for the females. I appreciate that we were aware that the studios side of the park was having renovation works but did not expect that much boarding off in areas which made the walkways really narrow so lots of people walking into you or tripping over. To be honest even the walkways in the magic kingdom seemed a lot smaller here than Orlando, as also seemed like they had far too many people in the park. To be really honest I was truly disappointed in the lack of Disney magic so won’t be returning. We have already booked to go to Disney world Orlando next year, so that my sister and niece can experience what Disney should be like.

Attention in case of temporary disability - Attention in case of temporary disabilities I booked a stay with my 6 year old daughter who has difficult standing parking (she has a cast removed on her leg a few days before arrival) As this is a temporary disability she is not entitled to privileged accessibility. Now most attractions do not allow to queue with an armchair, I am told that it must be able to support crutches .... What is impossible for a little girl who is just recovering from a double fracture ... Brief dialogue impossible with Disney.

Horrible. - I returned after 25 years, with a granddaughter. Horrible , long queues to see each Attraction , also some , see the castle of the princesses , despite booked , at the entrance they tell you they have too many people so you can not access??????. Despite this we shoot for two days in the middle of a hellish bolgia. I compete a gadget for the granddaughter (mickey that produces soap bubbles , 35 € after two hours breaks and no longer works!!!! There are thousands of parks for children NOT gone to Paris (ps parking 30 € per day) 🤢
