Elephant trip with personal care, thought and joy. A wonderful experience. - This was a trip I will never forget. From the collection by Coco to the welcome by all the family and 3 elephants it was truly unique. In a day we got to know the elephants through hand feeding, walking through the jungle and washing them - first in a mud bath then in the river! There was never a rush and it allowed us to relax with them. We also learnt more about local cultures and everyone was so helpful, thoughtful and interesting. With the stunning surroundings we came away so relaxed and happy. I cannot recommend highly enough.

Such a special day! - We spent the day today at Elephant Pride Sanctuary and I already want to go back! We are a family of five from England, youngest 10yrs old, oldest 16yrs old. The whole day was one we will never forget! We spent the most magical day in the jungle, we were the only guests. There was grandma, mother and baby elephant. We had researched where to go beforehand and didn't want to be part of a large group tour. Instead, we booked directly with the sanctuary and throughout the whole experience, the elephants came first. There was huge respect between the family hosting us and their beloved three elephants. I couldn't recommend the whole experience more. It will without doubt be the most memorable and special day we will have had in Thailand.

An amazing experience I’d do again and again - The trip out to the sanctuary was about 1hr 40 from our hotel in Chiang Mai and worth every single minute. The grandma, mum and baby elephants were so gentle and love people. There were only seven of us in the group which was perfect. Baby JoJo is adorable. We fed the elephants, walked with them into the forest, had a mud bath with them and went down to the river to wash them off. It was an incredibly humbling experience. The elephants are well loved and well cared for.

An Incredible Day Taking Care of the Elephants- We LOVED Elephant Pride Sanctuary! - Book this NOW for an incredible elephant experience! It was just my wife and me and one other person. We LOVED this experience. This is a magical place. We fed the elephants all day. We took them on a walk. We gave them a mud bath. We washed them off in the river. We ate a great lunch. It was just amazing. And, we saw how everyone there loved these elephants and took great care of them. The location is also breathtaking. The ride to and from Chiang Mai was very comfortable. Stopped for a bathroom break there and on the way back. Just a beautiful day all around.

Amazing Experience - There are many elephant sanctuary trips available out of Chiang Mai, but I am so thankful that I chose this one! It was one of the best days of my life. The staff is the best staff that I’ve encountered on any tour I’ve taken anywhere in the world - plus they take excellent photos and videos so that’s a plus. I highly recommend this tour!

Visit This Elephant Sanctuary! - We had an amazing time at the Care Pride Elephant Sanctuary! The day started with convenient hotel pick-up and stopping at a local market for fruits/coffee. Once we got to the sanctuary we fed the elephants and walked on a trail with them. There was a grandma, mother, and baby elephant. Lunch was provided (it was really good) and afterwards we took a mud bath with the elephants and washed them off in the river. The guides were very nice an extremely knowledgeable. Really enjoyed that they limit the group size so you have nearly unlimited elephant interaction throughout the day. The drive to/from the sanctuary is beautiful, as well. I highly recommend this experience!!

AMAZING experience and don't miss Jojo! - An amazing once in a lifetime experience! The elephants are adorable and you get to meet Jojo, a baby elephant who is quite a troublemaker in trying to escape. I loved this entire day, especially giving the elephant family baths. Truly one of the most joyous and fun days I've ever had. Pro-tip: Bring a change of clothes for after the mud bath! Don't feed your bag of fruit at once to the elephants otherwise you won't have anything to feed them later during the walk! I loved this so much that I recommended it to my cousin who went on this same trip three days later and was also wildly in love with the elephants!

An incredibly special day with the elephants - We selected this elephant sanctuary because it was a little smaller than some of the more popular ones. We are SO glad we did! We were the only ones who booked on our day so it was essentially a private tour. We were picked up by Koko and rode in a comfy air conditioned van. It was a long drive but we got to stop for coffee. When we arrived we got to feed the elephants before going on a little walk while they ate more in the woods. After lunch we bathed the elephants. The care takers clearly take a lot of care and pride in their work with the elephants and they appear to be treated well. Elephant pride provided showers, lunch, water, and a plastic bag to bring our wet clothes in. This was an incredibly special experience and was definitely a highlight of our trip. We were dropped off back to our hotel by 5pm.

Elephants Treated Like Family - If you are looking for an elephant sanctuary that is for sure geared toward the elephants’ well being, this is the place. It’s easy for people to describe online how their place is a sanctuary, but it’s impossible for them to fake it when real spectators go see them and their elephants. It was clear, the elephants were happy, not in any sort of distress, and loved the attention they received from my wife, myself, and two other people who came out for the day. And of course they loved their humans! The elephants’ routine, from feeding, to walking into the forest, to bathing and rinsing, was their preferred way. It was normal for them, unhurried, no expectations, just them doing what they do with their human family. We wish we could contribute some of our income to this family and these elephants, but the family said they have plenty of resources, and they weren’t accepting donations. So instead we hope this review boosts awareness for the elephants, the humans - family. We will never forget our special visit on June 25, 2024.
