Highlights
  • Wat Chedi Luang Varavihara - After picking you up from your hotel, our first stop will be Wat Chedi Luang, known as the “Temple of the Big Stupa”, this 700+ year old temple – famous for its Lanna-inspired designs – was once the home of the much-revered statue of the Emerald Buddha. After it was transferred to Wat Phra Kaew in Bangkok, the Thai king donated a replica to the temple which still stands today.
  • Three Kings Monument - The Three Kings Monument Square in Chiang Mai Thailand is a large open square in the heart of the walled Old Town. The statue portrays the three founders of Chiang Mai, King Mengrai, King Ramkhamhaeng and King Ngam Muang. King Mengrai ruled Lanna, King Ngam Muang was ruler of Phayao and King Ramkhamhaeng was King of Sukhothai Kingdom, purported founding fathers of Chiang Mai.
  • Wat Phra Singh - It’s one of the more venerated temples in Chiang Mai. It was built in the 14th century and is famous for its northern Thai designs and impeccable gardens.
  • Muang Mai Market - For your last stop, check out the Muang Mai Market or Warorot Market, where the local Sunday Market and Night Bazaar are located. Find the cheapest items in the city here and see products of all kinds; fruit, vegetables, souvenirs, seafood, jewelry, beauty supplies, a large flower market, and a whole lot more!
  • Warorot Market (Kad Luang) - For your last stop, check out the Muang Mai Market or Warorot Market, where the local Sunday Market and Night Bazaar are located. Find the cheapest items in the city here and see products of all kinds; fruit, vegetables, souvenirs, seafood, jewelry, beauty supplies, a large flower market, and a whole lot more!

Chiang Mai for beginners - This one was amazing. Arriving at Chiang Mai a few hours before it was the perfect way to get an idea what this city is about. Loved the Wat Phra Singh-temple which was so impressive. We got one more temple, a night-market and another street food-market. Thanks a lot for showing us around!

Luxury TukTuk experience - The TukTuk felt like a luxury experience! Lots of leg room and comfy seats. Our driver was Miss. Paphada (Oy). She was very kind, welcoming, and hospitable. She provided us waters, took great photos of us, and spoke perfect English! Best experience and would do it again.

Fun way to see the city. - Was good. You don't get a commentary but will get dropped at the highlights. We had been in chiang mai a few days so it was nice just to have ride around. We didn't want to go again to all the places we'd been already but went to a temple and night market for dinner. The tuk tuk was spacious and comfortable and most importantly a high roof so we could see out.

Good tour but only 1 temple visit not 2 as stated - Good tour guide but disappointed only 1 temple is open in the evenings despite tour stating 2 temples will be visited

Disappointing tour experience - We expected an English speaking guide as the tour descripton said: Tour - English. We ended up with just a driver who could not let us know what the itinerary was or communicate with us or answer any basic questions. I could have arranged my own tuk tuk and driver for a fraction of the cost. II raised this 20 mins into the tour with Viator and did not get any response or feedback. Really disappointed

Lost in accountability - Driver arrived on time and after that it was downhill. We paid for an English speaking guide to give us a “night tour of downtown Chiang Mai”. He took us on a tour of 2 temples and 2 night markets. He spoke no English and we tried to communicate via translator app. Worse still, we were not appropriately dressed and could not go into the temples! He offered no insight into anything whatsoever. We would have been better off just taking a tuk tuk to the markets and showing ourselves around at our pace as opposed to relying on constantly trying to hook back up with the tour “guide”. This is not a reflection on who we are sure is a very fine gentleman, but he should not be “sold” as an English speaking “guide”. We wound up being taken back to our hotel and very frustrated by 9pm on our first night out in Chiang Mai. We also called the company to try to remedy situation while we were out with the driver and they offered no solution, no accommodation, no “future” tour, no refund and most insulting no APOLOGY!
