Highlights
  • Gyeonghwa Station Cherry Blossom Road - I will pick you up from your location in Busan between 08:00 and 09:00, arriving at Jinhae Gyeonghwa Station around 10:00. We will then enjoy the cherry blossom city.

Gyeonghwa Station, renowned for its stunning cherry blossoms in spring, is a small railway station in Jinhae-gu, Changwon-si, Gyeongsangnam-do. It is situated between Seongjusa Station to the north and Jinhae Station to the south. Train services to and from Gyeonghwa Station were discontinued in 2006. Visitors can stroll along the tracks, which are flanked by rows of cherry blossom trees forming a floral tunnel. Along with Anmingogae Road and Yeojwacheon Bridge, Gyeonghwa Station is one of the top three cherry blossom photo spots in Jinhae. The area has been featured in Korean movies and dramas such as the film “Boy Goes to Heaven (2005)” and the drama “Spring Waltz (2006).”

  • Anmingogae Pass - Anmingogae Hill is a 9-kilometer-long hill stretching from Taebaek-dong in Jinhae to Anmin-dong in Changwon. Cherry blossom trees line both sides of the road for 6 kilometers, creating the famous Jinhae Cherry Blossom Tunnel. The hill also offers views of Jinhaeman Bay, Ungsan Mountain, Sirubong Peak, and Cheonjabong Peak. Benches are placed about 100 meters apart along the hill, providing visitors with a place to rest while enjoying the scenery and cherry blossoms.

  • Jehwangsan Park - Jehwangsan Park, located on Jehwangsan Mountain in the heart of Jinhae, is home to the nine-story Jinhae Tower. The tower, which symbolizes a Korean naval warship, stands at the top of a 365-step staircase and offers a splendid view of the city and coastline adorned with cherry blossoms. The Jinhae City Museum, located on the first and second floors of the tower, exhibits folk models and relics excavated from Jinhae.

  • Naval Academy - The Naval Academy and Jinhae Naval Base, usually closed to the public, are must-see attractions during the Jinhae Gunhangje Festival. Visitors can explore various activities such as visiting the Naval Academy Museum and the Turtle Ship, attending open warship events, and taking photos in naval uniforms.

  • Yeojwacheon Stream - The area around Yeojwacheon Stream is one of Jinhae’s best spots for viewing cherry blossoms. It is also the location of the bridge where the main characters, Gwanu and Chaewon, from the MBC TV series “Romance (2002),” first met as tourists visiting the Jinhae Gunhangje Festival. After the episode aired, the bridge became widely known as the Romance Bridge. Each April, the entire city of Jinhae is filled with cherry blossoms, but the Yeojwacheon Stream area boasts the most beautiful blooms, making it a prime tourist attraction.

  • Jangboksan Sculpture Park - Jangboksan Sculpture Park serves as the unofficial gateway to Jinhae at the end of Jangbok-ro Road between Masan and Jinhae. Built in 1979 following a mountain landslide, the park offers a panoramic view of Jinhae and its tranquil waters. In spring, over ten thousand cherry trees bloom among the pines, filling the air with their sweet fragrance.

  • Busan - After the tour, we will return to Busan from Jinhae city.
