Lovely day in Chania! - Chris, the guide, and the driver met us at the dock with a comfortable 8 seater van. Chris was knowledgeable about the history and the archeological sights and shared loads of information. We had a nice mix of both history and shopping so all interests were met. There is flexibility in the tour so if there is something special that you want to see, it can be accommodated. It was a lovely day!

Great Tour, Great Guide! - Wonderful tour! The monastery and Hill of Prophet Elijah were great stops off the usual tourist path. Old Town was enjoyable to walk around, shop, and eat. What made our tour extra special was our guide Maria. She was outstanding! Courteous, extremely knowledgeable, and flexible. And Viator was helpful, too, when we needed to delay our pickup time an hour. We highly recommend this tour and Maria!

Stella was great - Stella was a great tour guide. She allowed us to travel and sight see at our own pace and provided a lot of information. My husband is handicapped and Stella and our driver were extremely attentive to making sure he was included.

Beautiful city to explore on your own - Beautiful old city, old harbour front with many restaurants and views of the beautiful old buildings. Nice pedestrian streets with many leather, jewelry and ceramic shops. Walk further into old town and find various brand stores. Easy and inexpensive transport by bus to/from center.

Stroll & Dinner at Hania - Nice little town with an old port and ruins by the sea. We strolled in the old village and bought souvenirs then ate dinner. We had to go back to our Villa 2hrs drive before dark so we didn't have time to enjoy the evening there. It's nice to stop by for a few hours or spend a day or two in it.

Would not recommend. - Would not recommend. Guide was very knowledgeable but not personable and difficult to understand. My children were very bored the entire time and he did not even attempt to engage them. We had way too much time in the old town portion of the tour and he just walked us around in circles.
