Chantilly - Sebastian was a fantastic guide to say the least. The grounds at Chantilly were spectacular more grand than I thought they would be. My wife has her own horse and loves to ride. Seeing the stables was a bonus. Sebastian was very knowledgeable and couldn’t have been nicer.

Visit requiring several hours to visit the castle - Second visit to this castle. Great painting galleries. The largest library I have seen with many Incunabula and religious books, each older than the last. Collection of gastronomic menus dating from the 1840s and following with display of crockery and glasses. The only regret is the disappearance of the kitchen (made famous by Vatel who killed himself there following a late arrival of fish intended for a lunch in honor of Louis XIV.

Chantilly is a beautiful place to visit!!! - Chantilly is a beautiful place to visit. The grounds are well-kept, the chateau is impressive, and don't forget to check out the stables – they're pretty cool too. Oh, and treat yourself to some delicious waffles with Chantilly cream at the downstairs eatery – totally worth it! Overall, a great place to explore and enjoy.

Private tour of Chantilly is a must! - This tour is an absolute must! It is worth every penny. Our personal guide, Benoît, collected us right at our hotel doorstep. The VW van was new, clean and air conditioned. Benoît provided a very informative history of the Château on the way there and took care of tickets, audio guided and lunch vouchers. The art collection is amazing! A small version if the Louvre. The lunch at the Château restaurant was superb! The options, presentation and portions were excellent. If that is not enough, the horse show was great. Even the stables are a sight! I give this tour the highest possible rating! Loved it!

Lovely day in the country - Picked up at our hotel by our knowledgeable and friendly guide, Benoit, who made sure we had an excellent day visiting the chateau, art collection, and impressive riding stables (fun!). Lunch was at an attractive nearby Relais &Chateaux. The day in the country was a lovely addition to our mostly urban Parisian itinerary. Recommend!!

65th High School Reunion Milwaukee Oregon - We came from the oppressive heat of Florida - and Oregon had a historic heat wave too! But 100 degrees and 25 percent humidity with breezes feels a lot better than Florida 100 degrees with 90 percent humidity. We went to the End of the Oregon Trail museum where they had live displays with folks and kids dressed up as pioneers making dolls and crafts. I cannot imagine how the pioneers did the same trip we flew over in a wooden wagon no bigger than my car with no padding, heat, or AC! Our pioneer ancestors were sturdy folks. Mine only went as far as Indiana. HA HA. Since it was Sunday, they also had an Art Fair out front with some food vendors. We had lovely weather, woke up to a view of Mt Hood. The Clackamas Inn only had one chair to a room, but did have mini kitchen with refrig, microwave, and coffee maker and free breakfast. The staff was extremely helpful and nice. This was a HS Reunion (hubby's) and family visit - also went to Pietro's Pizza - which is the best! Wow it was great and even had Gluten free pizza. Plus games for the kids - who loved it. Great fun for all. We were out in Milwaukie Oregon and it was safe and friendly - a very pleasant experience. The Portland airport was designed by pioneers who walked from the Mississippi. I have never seen such a poorly designed mess. It is not elderly friendly. Do not pack heavy if you are carrying on because you will have to walk up and down escalators, floors, etc. for a mile. Seriously. Very few moving steps sidewalks. We waited an hour for wheelchair help, The Delta staff were excellent, just short handed.

A guided tour vs. transportation provided - Unfortunately I assumed "professional guide" included meant that this was to be a "guided tour." Not so. Better description would be provides car, driver and ticket purchases. While lunch that was included was really, really good, the online promo material labeled it as a "Renaissance-style meal." Hardly. At a cost approaching $300/person, one might think a clearer picture of what is to be provided could be made available.
