A Must-Do Food Tour - From beginning to end this food tour was fabulous. We met Jessy at the Charleston Culinary Tours house and had our first taste of a genuine Charleston treat and she explained the history of this sesame goody. We then wandered around the area stopping at different spots for Jessy to tell us some history about where we were. Our first stop was Poogan's Smokehouse for some delicious bites of house specialties (corn bread and pulled pork were faves), next was Rudy Royales (delicious fried chicken), The Oyster House for seafood specialties and ending up at Benne's for the best Coconut Cake! The tour was a great mix of history and wonderful food. All of us agreed that this food tour was so worth it and highly recommend taking this tour when in Charleston!

Best tour in Charleston! - This was by far our favorite tour out of all of the tours that we did in Charleston. Simon was our guide and he was very knowledgeable but also so kind and caring towards my family. Our kids are all adults (19-22) and they said this was one of the best things we have ever done out of ANY of our vacations. The food was incredible and going from place to place was really neat. We also liked getting to know other people on the tour while we were eating. Highly recommend!

Great tour - My husband I recently had a fantastic experience on the Downtown Charleston Food Tour with Mike as our guide. Mike's knowledge and passion for the local cuisine made the tour memorable. His engaging commentary and wisdom of the food at each stop added so much value. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to explore Charleston's culinary treasures, and having Mike as the guide made it even more remarkable. It was a delightful and delicious way to discover Charleston's vibrant food scene!

A three hour tour with 4 food stops - Food was pretty good. Primarily casual southern fare. Grits, shrimp, bbq etc. our tour guide was very good and knowledgable about the area. She left us at our last stop so we had to find our way back to the origination point on our own.
