Wonderful experience…if you are fit! - We had a wonderful time at the cooking class. Oussama took very good care of us. We were greeted with a welcome mint tea and the chance to look over the beautiful city while the sun was still out. Later we cut the onions, cilantro, parsley, zucchini, garlic etc for our tangines. They were cooked the traditional way on little bbq’s in the ground. Then we moved to a dining table overlooking the setting sun to have the best meal we enjoyed in our first week in Morocco. A word of warning….the location is not easy to get to. It is up above Ras El Ma and we walked up the equivalent of 27 flights of stairs, some of which was actually hiking up a dirt path on the side of the hill….but that added to the experience. I was afraid to walk down in the dark afterwards and Oussama helped me down and stayed with us until we got a petit taxi. It was a truly memorable experience!

One of a kind experience - Ousama was a fantastic host! This was by far the highlight of our trip so far. It was also amazingly genuine experience for my husband and I! If you are looking for something one of a kind amongst the blue city, trust me you want to do it from this view. What made it more special is that you are separated from the tourists and also gauranteed to have the best tagine that no restaurant can match :)

Fantastic experience, 6+ stars - If I could give this more than 5 stars, I would. Aman is a lovely man who teaches Moroccan cooking in a very patient and enthusiastic way. I was very lucky, as nobody else had booked in for the night I did this, and Aman still ran the lesson anyway, essentially privately. The view is phenomenal, the sunset was amazing, and the food was delicious. I feel confident going home that I could go close to replicating this meal. Aman is also very knowledgable about the history of Chefchaouen, so it was fantastic to learn more than just cooking from him. Overall, this was an absolute highlight of my trip to Morocco, and I highly recommend it to anyone considering booking in for a cooking class with Aman.

Cooking Tasty Tagine at Sunset in Chefchaouen - Aman’s private cooking class was the highlight of our trip to Morocco! We had the beautiful mountainside all to ourselves and enjoyed some tea and sweets (baked by Aman’s talented mother) when we first arrived. Then Aman led us through some quick prep of chopping produce and mixing kofte meatballs for our tagine dinner. We chatted with Aman and learned all about the history of Chefchaouen while our tagine was cooking over an open flame. Our dinner was one of the most satisfying meals we’ve ever enjoyed and the beautiful view of the blue city at sunset made it taste all the better. We’d highly recommend anyone visiting Morocco to book a class with Aman because you won’t regret it!

Hospitality with a view! - My friends & I just stumbled upon Aman’s place while admiring the views on our first day in Chefchaouen. We weren’t able to fit a formal class into our itinerary, but Aman provided us with such hospitality anyway! He gave us all mint tea and answered our questions about the area. Very kind people and some of the best views over the city! Not a challenging hike to get to.

Excellent experience! - We’ve had the most amazing time! Aman and Mohammed were great hosts and very knowledgeable. We could choose one starter and one main between 2 of us and the food was delicious! Aman told us about the history of Chefchaouen while our food was cooking. Epic experience to watch the sunset and overlooking the city while having our dinner. Keep up the good work guys!
