Huanglong Scenic Valley - Nestled at Xuebaoding, the highest peak of Laoshan Mountain in Songpan County, Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture, lies the Huanglong Scenic Area. This area includes the main Huanglong site and the Munigou Ditch. It is renowned for its stunning calcification pools, which are abundant, crystal clear, and vividly colorful. Visitors can enjoy a variety of natural landscapes, including forests, valleys, snow-capped mountains, and waterfalls. The impressive travertine formations in the Huanglong Scenic Area flow through the pristine forest, resembling a golden dragon in flight, which is why it is named “Huanglong”. The Huanglong Scenic Area is also celebrated for its “Four Extremes”—pots, snow-capped mountains, forests, and canyons.

Jiuzhaigou Natural Reserve - Situated in Sichuan’s Aba Prefecture, Jiuzhaigou derives its name from the nine villages scattered throughout the valley. Resembling a scene from a fairy tale, Jiuzhaigou is famous for its water landscapes. There’s a saying that once you’ve seen Jiuzhaigou, no other water landscapes will compare. Some parts of Jiuzhaigou are at a high elevation, which may cause altitude sickness for some visitors. It is advised to avoid strenuous activities while visiting.
