You will first visit the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda, as the pandas are very active in the morning. There you will see lovely furry giant pandas of all ages eating and playing with each other. You will also have a chance to see the very cute baby pandas, as well as documents and pictures showing how these little pink mouse-size animals grow into giant white and black chubby pandas of over 220 lbs (100kg).
  • Kuanzhai Alley - You will then proceed to Broad and Narrow Alleys. It is really fun to stroll along the ancient street lined with many old houses and some newly-built ones with a traditional style. You will have your lunch here (own expense), and you can ask for your guide’s advice on where to eat.

Best tour guide - Leila was our tour guide for our group of 5, 3 day /2nights to Chengdu, Dujiangyan Irtigation system, Jinsha Site Museum, Panda Base and surrounding areas. Leila was so knowledgeable about the areas visited. She was always pleasant, full of information, and energetic. Leila can speak English perfectly. She can sing and rap too. She kept us entertained during our trip. We were very pleased with our trip and would love to travel with Leila again. We strongly recommend her and her company to anyone.

Full day packed with authentic Chengdu experience - I had so much fun in my short visit to Chengdu. Emily, my guide, is a very nice and friendly guide, with a lot of experience and knowledge, goos English, providing a great personal experience. It felt like hanging out with an old friend. I didn't expect such warm companion in my solo trip. I really appreciate her First day, half day experience. Arrived at the airport, she picked me up, drove me to hotel, helped with check in. Seamless. We then had lunch at local hotpot. Accommodated my request for spicy exotic food. Ate pork brain and duck intestine. Amazing Second day, the main day, full day experience. Went to panda center, showing me good spots to get panda videos. She treated me to more authentic spicy Sichuan foods. Visited fascinating museum. Went to other local spots like wide & narrow roads and People's Park. Chilling at local tea house, checking out matchmaking corners. At night she got me ticket to Sichuan Opera

Interesting discovery of the Panda-city Chengdu - My local guide Rebecca has guided me professionally through the panda breeding research base as well as through the Wide and Narrow Alley as also the museum. as she is originate from Chengdu, she had a huge knowledge and happy to share tips and tricks. As we had some spare time, she willingly added some extra spots to the journey. Thanks a lot Rebecca! See you next time!

Fantastic 6-day tour in Sichuan and Chengdu area - Living in Shanghai, I spent a 6-day break in Sichuan which ended up to be a fantastic experience. This is greatly thanks to my graceful, knowledgeable and care taking guide Lisa (additionally she also has a very good command of English). I shall also give a special mention to our driver who every day drove us safely in a very modern and clean "Hong Qi" (my first time, yep!) At no point in time would I feel any COVID-related risk, the company actually provided each day two masks and hand sanitizer(s). One personal regret was that I could not go to JiuZhaiGou, the site not being opened to foreigners (I was duly informed when I made the trip reservation); Nonetheless, I did see so many beautiful and interesting spots that it is only but a further motivation to come back. The epitome was obviously the Panda base, but just to state a few amongst others, I liked in particular LeShan big Buddha, Emei shan, QingCheng shan (the birth place of Taoism) and Dujiangyan, the irrigation system which has been in use for some 1500 years! I also enjoyed the food which eventually was not as spicy as I could have feared. Hum, this was again thanks to Lisa's good care who made sure that the dishes would be adapted to my european palate! In short, this trip has been a real match, it will remain vivid in my memory. Great thanks to all who took part to its flawless organization and made it so peasant.

Fantastic tour of Chengdu - A friend and I booked a flight to Chengdu from Jinan, one night in a hotel (Holiday Inn express), and two half day tours with an English-speaking guide and we had a fantastic time! Libby, our guide, was so knowledgeable about the area and did a great job showing us around the Wuhou Shrine and Jinli Street and taking us to an authentic Chinese restaurant. The next morning she took us to the Chengdu Panda Research Base and saw so many adorable pandas. It was a magical experience! She also took us to the Jinsha Site Museum and the Chengdu People’s Park. We are so glad that we saw many historical sites on our tour in addition to seeing the pandas. This trip was worth every penny we paid for it!

Unforgetable Journey to Chengdu - We never forget our lovely trip in Chengdu this year in Oct. Our 3 night stay in this city was a part of our 15 day great journey in China which we purhased from Travel China Guide. Della is our charming, courteous and very pleasant guide. She speaks english very good and cater our needs in Chengdu from airport pick-up, tours until excorting us to train station. She and the driver (forgot his name) were making our experience truly special. We went and visited Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, Jinli street, wide and narrow alley, Jinsga site museum and Leshan Giant Buddha. The only dissapointment was only at the Giant Panda Breeding as we could not touch and take photo with young Panda. The research base was packed with people therefore it was hardly to see the overall attraction. This place is much suitable for family with children. However we were happy at least we knew this famous attraction. We hope we can return someday for more relax holiday in Chengdu and Visit Emeishan, Hongzhushan forest.

Visit to Chengdu through Travel China Guide - We visited Chengdu through Travel China Guide in November 2019. Leila was our guide. The experience was fabulous. Leila was extremely pleasant, friendly, and accommodating. She went out of her way to be helpful. She took us to an opera and stayed with us the whole time. She took our group to an awesome restaurant and also recommended some very good HotPot places. I am planning to visit Tibet in the future and will request Leila as my guide. She is a gem!!
