  • Tha Phae Gate - The Tha Phae Gate, located on the eastern side of Chiang Mai’s old city, is a popular photo spot. It was originally constructed as an entrance to the city and is surrounded by an old wall.
  • Wat Phra That Doi Suthep - We’ll arrive at the mountain’s summit around 9:40 a.m. As we explore the temple grounds, we’ll see golden pagodas, shrines, bells, Buddha statues, and sacred relics, including a statue of a legendary white elephant and the naga steps. Before we leave, we can enjoy a breathtaking view over Chiang Mai.
  • Karen Long Neck Village - We’ll visit the Karen Long Neck tribe in the Mae Rim area, known for their tradition of wearing long brass coils around their necks. Meeting their friends and family is a great way to learn about their culture and way of life.

The day trip includes a private vehicle and guide to explore Chiang Mai’s mountains, mist, and vibrant hill tribes. Founded in 1296 as the capital of the ancient Lanna Kingdom, the trip begins at the iconic Tha Phae Gate, followed by visits to Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, about 17 km from the city. Next, you’ll visit the Long Neck village, have lunch at Dan Thewada, and end the day enjoying the lush scenery and waterfalls.

  • Tour Important Information:
  • Gathering the necessary sun cream, mosquito spray, cap, sunglasses, and clothing for climbing at the waterfall.
  • Please dress politely before entering the temple. Make sure your shoulders are covered. (No vests, tank tops, or spaghetti straps required.) Skirts or shorts should be longer and reach at least to your knees.

  • This tour involves a lot of walking, so make sure to wear comfortable shoes
