This impressive kayaking expedition will transport you to the most secluded corners of Assateague Island. On a typical day, we spot the untamed Chincoteague ponies grazing in the wetlands, though keep in mind these are feral creatures and sightings can vary. Nonetheless, we’re familiar with the prime spots for pony viewing, allowing us to spot them roughly 75% of the time. Additionally, we’ll have an opportunity to take stunning photos of the Assateague Lighthouse, amongst the continually operational lighthouses in the nation. If we’re lucky, we might even catch a glimpse of some of the distinctive and scarce birds making their migration via Assateague Island.

Great experience! - Excellent tour of Assateague! Our guide was lovely and very knowledgeable. We saw lots of ponies and learned fun facts about them and the island. It was good exercise, too!

August tour - Our guide was wonderful. Very knowledgeable and informative. She also understood that not everyone was as athletic. I am 51 and not in great shape but she was able to slow down at times without signaling me out. Got within 15 feet of the horses and saw bald eagles right overhead. My 13 year old son had a great time as well.

Fantastic, great fun! - Great trip! All the staff were so friendly. Katie our guide was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic! Saw many interesting waterfowl and a couple bald eagles a sting ray and much more. Ours was a small group of only three kayaks. Great time. Highly recommend it!

Kayaking at Assateague! - Beautiful scenery. Our guide worked very hard to provide a fantastic experience! Park next to the wooden structure; the office is to your left facing the water. Make sure you apply sunblock and insect repellant!

Outstanding! - This was our 3rd time kayaking with this company and it is amazing every single time. They really do an outstanding job to show you the most its out there and every time is a little diffrent. Ponies, birds, turtles, beautiful marshland, creeks and lagoons, the lighthouse etc. We just can't get enough! It is very easy paddle, relaxing, informative, fun for the whole family. You can tell they love what they do, it really shows. We will definatelly continue to go with them next time again!

Great adventure - Kate was our guide and she did a fabulous job informing us of the history of the ponies, and the islands. We were able to see the wild ponies, a bald eagle, and sting rays! We had an amazing time!
