A lot to see in one day for a taste of the countryside of the South Island - Fantastic day from start to finish. Loved the bakery stop to buy breakfast, there were two walks or one hike on offer at Mt Cook. Even though the weather was ordinary I loved driving through the changing landscapes of New Zealand and can’t wait to go back to Mt Cook when the weather is clear!

Good service! - Our tour was great! It was a sunny day and the skies were clear. Our tour guide and driver was Clive who was really informative, considerate and responsible. We were given pre-packed snacks and lunch with drinks/water to help us get through the day. He gave us tips through the journey and what to watch out for as it can be quite slippery in some parts of the hooker valley track given that it’s winter season. He was organized, keeping track of time reminding us to keep a check on time so we won’t fall behind the sched and we meet the set activity goal for the day which we did. we completed the hooker valley track , he also took the track and offered to take some photos of us on the frozen lake once we reached the end of the track. We stopped over to fairlie bake shop which is known to have the best pies in NZ had a quick tea, then stopped over to Lake pukaki and tekapo on our way to and back from Mt cook village. He gave us ample time to take photos as well. It was a long but satisfying day!

Great Journey - This was a well-organized journey, with ample time provided at each scenic spot for us to explore. The driver, Chris, is an experienced and enthusiastic guide who cares deeply about everyone's experience. Despite the long drive, Chris made appropriate comfort stops for everyone to stretch their legs and use the restroom.

Beautiful and beware of tour guide - Views are breathtaking but the tour guide is misleading as he didn't explain clearly the end of hike we have a beautiful lake to check in but gives lots of info about how many people could not finish the hike. And that time is rush. Though it is partly not done enough homework, I wish the tour guide can be more professional in providing information. That's what we actually pay for!!!!

Terrible - I don’t recommend this tour at all. The pick up time in the app was incorrect, the tour operator rang AFTER the bus had left, next pick up point at 2 hours distance; no one apologized, we wasted four hours on the phone asking for an explanation or a refund with screenshots from the app for nothing: immediate email automated answers denying refunding “after thorough checking”. We recommended it before this happened to three other colleagues and two of them received a cancellation message the day before their tour so the third went alone. Unprofessional, unreliable. And now we are invited to comment on our experience.
