  • Blue Line - October - June: First departure from Stop 1 at 10am. Last departure from Stop 1 at 4pm. Frequency - every 120 minutes. Tour duration - 110 minutes

Good for discovering Albufeira and Vilamoura - To do upon arrival, and do the 2 circuits blue and red, red for the city of Albufeira and blue for the surrounding area and Vilamoura Leave early in the morning. It starts at 9:30 a.m. for red and 10 a.m. for blue. you can choose a 1 or 4 day pass: 50 euro for 2 for 1 day, pass taken at the hotel

Open top hop on hop off bus tour of Albufeira and area. - Excellent way to see Albufeira and surrounding areas with multi language commentary. Hop on hop off a real bonus to able to explore areas knowing there'll be another bid later to get back on.

***A budget nonetheless*** - Purchase of 2 tickets for the blue circuit (albufeira) and the red circuit (surroundings) 50 euros (a budget nonetheless) We started by doing the blue circuit (driver not very welcoming) and the next day the red circuit (longer) You can get off wherever you want but pay attention to the times Between the wind, people talking, traffic and noise, it's difficult to hear explanations with headphones. ***Shame*** Good walk !!!!

Hop On Hop Off - We took the Hop On Hop Off bus to see parts of Albufeira that we had not seen before. There was an audio in English and it was quite interesting though maybe went on a little too long. The tickets are valid for two days so we COULD have used it the following day as public transport.

Expensive - Expensive compared to the fact that the 2 lines that are there almost run the same route, there are about 6 stops that are not the same out of the nose 30 stops. Save the money and take a guided taxi or tuk tuk tour instead.

Poor experience - Was fine to get from a to b . Best to research the stops beforehand to see if you want to get off because there is little information on the so-called multilingual earphones. It was 95 % music and so of little value to those want commentary.

Waste of time - The worst sight seeing tour ever. A waste of your time and money. All you see is roundabouts and Hotels. They will tell you such a sight is so many metres from the next stop.but you won't actually see anything. We were on the bus nearly 3 hours .Bus stopped in one location for 20 minutes and everyone just sitting there.They told us we could use the ticket the following day as well.nobody in their right mind would do that trip again.

Don't waste your money. - Booked the 4 day bus tickets as have used them in other countries and always been brilliant. This one was the exception to the rule. 1 hour (red) or 2 hour (blue) "sightseeing" loop with nothing to see. It does not go to any of the main Algarve attractions. The bus is always late and the commentary either doesn't work or doesn't match up with where you are. That's when there is commentary at all as the majority of it is just music. Cheaper to get the Giro bus or land train to get about. The bus was so late that a few times we ended up just forking out for an Uber because we were bored of waiting. Total rip off and wish we hadn't bothered booking.

Disappointing - I've traveled with this bus operator before and had good experience, not this time. There were several problems, as follows: Both the root guide and the map are confusing. There are two roots which use different numbers for the same stop. That would be bad enough, but then the map is broken into three pieces over two different pages. It would have been easier to understand if the map were all together. The other problem is with the infrequency of the buses. Each route takes 2 hours to complete, and the red root is supposed to run on the hour. I started at 1:00 p.m. with the red root, but couldn't switch to the blue route because I wouldn't get back to my starting point before the end of the day. Got up early the next day and was at the stop well before the 9:30 start time, and waited an hour without seeing a bus. Assuming that the bus starts at a random point somewhere on the route I should wait on average 30 minutes and definitely know more than 60 minutes, when the bus didn't show up the next day I gave up because I had another event planned that I would miss. Albufeira is a beautiful area, but it doesn't have historic sites like most European capitals. This bus is basically a shuttle that runs from resort to resort, and restaurant District to restaurant district.

Would not use - Last bus didn't turn up at Blue line stop 12 leaving us stranded and having to get a taxi. We paid 50 euro for 2 of us for 1 trip.
