Around 8:00am you will be picked up in front of your ship at Civitavecchia port. Your private english speaking driver will be waiting for you with a sign with your name on it in front of the ship. You’ll be able to enjoy the scenic drive as your driver takes you to Rome.
Once in Rome, you will be dropped off at the location of your choice and you will have free time to do whatever you wish. Prior to your drop off in Rome, you will advise your driver where you want to be picked up and the approximate time to be picked up. We recommend between 3:00pm-4:00pm to ensure you are back at the port in lots of time to board your ship.
Spend a few hours in Rome to have lunch, see the local sites, visit museums, etc. You are free to do whatever you choose.
When your day of independent sightseeing is complete, you will meet your driver at the prearranged designated pick up spot. Your driver will drive you back to the port where you will be able to board your ship which will also conclude your transfer.

An English-speaking driver will meet you at your cruise ship in Civitavecchia port around 8:00am, holding a sign displaying your name. He’ll transport you to Rome and drop you off at a location of your choosing. You’ll set a time and location for pick-up later in the day. Once in Rome, you’re free to explore at your leisure. The driver will be back at the predetermined location and time (usually between 3pm-4pm) that you’ve specified to take you back to the port, ensuring a timely return for the departure of your cruise ship.
