We were o a short weekend break and it was great to get the three ve ues in one day. Great trip! - Beautiful scenery throughout the tour. Salt mines look like alien spacecraft and a fantastic tour to take, but be aware, a lot of steep steps, get your steps in.
Fortress and Corvin Castle were stunning and fantastic that they are being preserved and available to us. Lovely to see different parts of Romania and Transylvania and a very comfortable, pleasant way to do it. Thank you isteban!

Recommend 1000% - There was a small hitch in that the day I had originally planned to do the tour (my schedule was tight and locked down a long time before) they had to cancel. But I was able to get a last minute evening bus and a hotel room in Cluj to be in town on time to do the tour the day before I planned, which Rolandia were able to accommodate. And I'm so glad I did!
The tour was fantastic. Our guide Istvan was lovely, full of information. All the stops were fantastic, although the Salt Mine has a strange beauty about it and Corvin Castle is beyond stunning. Istvan suggested a wonderful place for lunch in Alba Iulia with beautiful surroundings, amazing food and at a brilliant price.
Our tour group all went to dinner in the evening with Istvan and his girlfriend at a restaurant he suggested (also amazing food at an excellent price!) Beware the Palinca and Unicum!

Spectacular - I visited the Turda salt mine and Corvin Castle. The mines are spectacular as is the castle. I highly recommend the visit.

Fantastic trip - Robert taught a lot of history about the places which really brought them to life. We visited Alba, Corvin Castle and the Salt mine. Great choice if you don't have much time but want to see as much as possible!

Perfect day trip from Cluj! - Miguel was an outstanding guide and made sure that everyone had a great day! The Turda salt mines are very interesting, the Alba Fortress has beautiful churches and excellent scenery, and Corvin Castle has so much history associated with it! Miguel took us to see a wooden church near the Corvin Castle although it was not open so we could not go inside it. This is a perfect day trip to take from Cluj-Napoca - we highly recommend it!

RECOMMENDED TOUR! - The itinerary is well organized and Robert, the guide, speaks fluent English and a little Italian. The salt mines are spectacular and Corvin Castle fairytale-like. Do not underestimate the provision of bottles of water by the tour operator and the indications on where you can have lunch during the break.

Salt mine in Turda Romania - Beautiful but not beautiful, unfortunately my expectations were higher. The Ferris wheel didn't work, the elevators weren't big enough, the stairs were very narrow.
All in all a nice experience, but nothing special!
