Smooth and a great time - Slingshot was in excellent condition. No issues at all. John the rental agent was extremely helpful.

Good Service & Experience - We had a great experience renting a four seater model from Cocoa Beach. We were given great advice not only on the vehicle but a route to try out.

Great way to cruise around Cocoa Beach - 4 hours of cruising around Cocoa Beach was AWESOME. Plenty of power to zip along and easy to operate. McKayla was wonderful. She provided clear and helpful instructions. I did a little test drive with her in the parking lot to make sure I could drive it. Great value and tons of fun! Would do it again!

BEST MONEY I SPENT IN FLORIDA!! - We had an absolute blast riding these rockets around the space coast. Our cruise was cancelled since evidently there is some sort of virus going around but we rented a beach house for a little R&R since we couldn't get our airlines money back. It was incredibly easy check in and check out. Brad and John (owners) were very kind and helpful. Riding the entire length of Merritt Island and around Kennedy Space Center was fantastic. If you have a big head like me bring our own helmet since none of theirs fit. I even warned them before I arrived but an XL helmet just doesn't cut it. They even hooked us up with a couple days kayak rentals which added to more safe COVID fun.

Awesome - This was awesome. we drove all the way from Tampa to Cape Canaveral, didn’t know how to drive a manual transmission. We learned in 20 minutes... and we were off from there. Our first stop was to Cocoa Beach! Just about 10 minutes away it was a great experience and a lot to see. I definitely highly recommend This experience.

Great Covid 19 Boredom Buster!!! - We rented a slingshot in Jan as a anniversary gift for the hubby and again yesterday to help us conquer our cabin fever from isolating this week.. So. Much. Fun!!!! I read another review about waiting for the clerk to get back. We showed up both times and they weren't there (out delivering brochures to local businesses.) That was easily remedied by texting when we got there. The young guys that work this business, own this business and are very helpful giving ideas on where to go. Of course, with all of the other issues facing small businesses during this weird time in the US, this small business is hurting. BUT there's no reason for that!! Renting a slingshot puts you only near one other person and all out in the outdoors and sunshine...both of which are good for killing the virus. Though they clean all the interior areas of the cars, we brought our own thing of Clorox Wipes and followed that with hand sanitizer on everything we might touch and our helmets. It was such a great way to blow off the restlessness that comes with being stuck inside for days on end. Last time we drove down and ate at Squid Lips at the south end of the island and yesterday we were the last customers allowed in to stay and eat (outdoors) at the Squid Lips in the middle of the island. Since that was the last seating (the order came thru while we were eating) you won't be able to do that but there are TONS of small businesses that are hurting so pick one to pick up lunch and bring a towel with you to sit out and have a picnic at a scenic stop. Even if there WAS'T a quarantine in place, this is such a fun thing to do. Now that there IS shelter in place order, this activity will keep you from going stir crazy. Come on people!!! Get out there and use the small businesses that are still able to serve you during social distancing. We plan to go back one more time before we all are allowed to move around again. Go do it and then think good thoughts about me because I told you about it!!

Decent ride - We rented a half day trip, found on a Groupon. The staff was friendly. The was an extra charge of $46 on top of the Groupon purchase. The vehicle were kept in pretty good condition. Although the breaks seemed not that great. We were told this is normal.over all not a bad experience

Terrible management - Arrived and they had no car available despite having our ticket and confirmation number. Dax, the desk attendant was super friendly and apologetic. He tried to help but the manager, John was just terrible, moody, no apology, no refund. Acted like it was our fault for not confirming with him he had a car even though I had my confirmation number and ticket. Then tried blaming Viator. He stated he could get us another Slingshot "in maybe a few hours but no sooner" but no discount for our troubles. Dax had already arranged for one an hour late. That kid was just terrific and is definitely destined for better than this Mickey Mouse" operation. Slingshot was fun color and ride so no regrets but the vehicles are run down with bald tires and rough sounding. They sure aren't focused on safety or good business practices. A shame because this could be a great little business. Maybe they need to fire John and promote Dax for great customer service.

Not worth dealing with the hassle -- find something else to do. - Not worth dealing with the hassle -- find something else to do. We reserved a date nearly 1 month in advance with a $100 deposit. Were not told about any "terms and conditions" over the phone. Called to cancel our reservations and were told the deposit was not fully refundable. They said they would "review the phone call" and get back with us. No phone call ever came. I called 2x more times to cancel. No answer. I emailed, no reply. Finally spoke with someone but they were hostile about a refund. My guess is the company is owned by a larger entity (hence the Polaris name in marketing) and the larger company instructs this branch "absolutely no refunds". I'm a business owner for nearly 20 years and it's sad I have to even write this review to let others know the experience they're about to pay for is going to be a hassle and less than awesome.

Poorly run business - When we went to rent a Slingshot at 1:00 pm, we waited 30 minutes to speak to a Sales Clerk, only to be told we couldn't rent for 4 hours because it was 1:30 and they close at 5:00. No discount for the half hour we wasted waiting for the Sales Clerk, and they certainly weren't going to stay open after 5:00. We were so disappointed because we were greatly looking forward to trying a Slingshot! It seems that they'd want to rent them because they're just sitting around, but I guess the Sales Clerk isn't the owner, so he doesn't care. Very poorly run business!
