- Cocorna - Live the most amazing paragliding flight near to the city of Medellin. Let´s drive 1.5 hour until Cocorna municipality where flying zone is. Fly until 25 minutes and enjoy the view of giant waterfalls. At our return to Medellin, we will stop in a restaurant in the top of the mountains for lunch (no included) where you can enjoy the best traditional food and the 360 degree view of the mountains of Antioquia.
You must know the conditions to fly depends of the weather, a cold wind or few breeze causes a less time flight. Our flight is until 25 minutes if this conditios are very good, otherwise, you will fly less time.
It is important to say the weather behavior in Cocorna canyons is very different than Medellin´s weather and it is extremely difficult to know how it will be in the time. So, we have 95% of probabilities to fly based in our flights database and experience
11:00 am: you will enjoy until 25 minutes of paragliding, flying over giant waterfalls and amazing canyons.
12:00 pm: return to Medellin.
12:00 A free optional stop will be made in a restaurant in the top of the mountains for get a delicious traditional lunch
(not included) and a amazing 360 degree view of the mountain of Antioquia. If this option is note taken, we will go to the hotel directly,
2:00 - 1:00 pm : start the return to your hotel after lunch in the rastaurant
3:00 - 2:00 pm: arrival to your hotel

Experience an exhilarating paragliding journey in the proximity of the city of Medellin. We’ll embark on a 1.5-hour drive to the municipality of Cocorna, the designated flight area. Soar for up to 25 minutes, marvelling at the massive waterfalls below. When we head back to Medellin, we’ll swing by a hilltop eatery for lunch (not included), allowing you to sample delectable local cuisine and take in panoramic views of the Antioquia mountains.
Bear in mind that your flight time hinges on weather conditions. A chilly gust or light breeze may result in a shorter flight. With ideal weather, you can fly for up to 25 minutes, otherwise, the duration could be less.
Additionally, it’s worth noting that weather patterns in the Cocorna canyons differ markedly from those in Medellin. Precise weather forecasting at flight time can be challenging. However, our extensive flight records and experience allow us to have a 95% success rate for launch feasibility.
In the event that unsuitable weather prevents the flight, we offer a 50% refund.
