We ask our guests to please check in 15 minutes prior to your tour. After you’ve been checked in and fitted with a life vest you’ll be on your way for an exciting afternoon adventure. Once you reach the river you’ll be given a short safety speech and will be ready to begin your 7 mile whitewater experience. Our Shoshone River lower 7 tour is approximately 2 hours from start to finish. Great adventure and great memories - Was a little worried about doing this river rafting but it was great. Would do it again. Our guides were great also.

Family fun - Great experience in Cody. My kids are 8 & 9, and they lived the rafting. The company provided some over-clothes to help repel the water as it was cold (about 60 degrees) … but still worth the experience. Loved the guide - a college student who knew the path and told us about the River, etc. Would do again.

GREAT FAMILY TRIP! - HIGHLY RECCOMEND FOR FAMILIES WITH KIDS! I was apprehensive about bringing our 4, 5 and 8 year olds on the river; but it was GREAT! the rapids were small but consistent. The guide kept the kids attention the whole time, talking about wildlife and rock formations. We would absolutely go back!

Great trip! - My husband and I are in our 60’s and had never been river rafting. We did the lower Shoshone. It was a great trip to “get our feet wet” rafting. Our guide was excellent, informative and knowledgeable. It was just enough to get us enthused about going on a more challenging river tour. Looking forward to trying this again. Thank you for the fun you showed us!

New Rafters Had a Blast! - The three teenage hockey players we took on the 2 hour rafting trip had a great time on their first rafting trip! We got splashed and dried a bit and then got splashed again! We enjoyed the Class 2 & 3 rapids of the Shoshone River and our tour guide Mike shared some history and stories about what we saw along the way. I would highly recommend Red Canyon River Trips, located next to the Irma Hotel!

White water river ride - River ride was great; however, I believe the guide showed preferential treatment to a few "good looking ladies" as opposed to the rest of the group. That should be watched; we all pay the same price. Location of business office looks a little seedy; but equipment was in top notch shape
