Solid experience. Had a good time - Good overall experience. Was a little hot during the day so you might want to bring an umbrella to stay out of the heat on some of the walks. Also, you’ll get to see some animals but it all depends on if they’re out or not.

Engaging, knowlegable tour guide excited to share Panama's nature and history with guests. - Great tour, visited the Atlantic side locks visitors center, saw a few howler monies and some solitary sloths (I recommend taking binoculars if you have them), walked through a small patch of the jungle with our guide, and visited Ft. San Lorenzo, before returning back to Panama City. Guide was knowledgeable, fun to talk to and very engaging. He shared water, plantain chip snacks and bug spray. I recommend asking lots of questions, and he will share everything he knows about the natural environment and history of Panama.

Educational and fun!? Glad we did it :-) - Great communication and smooth pickup. Alfonso was an incredible guide and he and our driver gave us so much history and info while making the day fun and comfortable. We came for the history, canals/locks and the Fort and weren’t worried about seeing animals because we have a lot where we live but we did get to see some coatis at the Fort, a sloth off the road and some howler monkeys but if that part is important to you, you may be disappointed. We read about the same from other travellers and again, was not as Important to us as the other parts and we made that clear to Alfonso so it didn’t matter. We really appreciated all we saw and learned and know it was one of the most informative and interactive tours we’ve been on! Thanks again!!

Great tour with Alonso + Mario - I must say, Alonso was amazing. Really a very knowledgeable guide who knew so much of the history of Colon + Panama Canal events. He gave us ample time, walked us through the rain forest and taught us about the wildlife. Our driver Mario was incredibly kind, had great snacks, and stopped also along the route and helped spot wildlife! We saw a bunch of different monkeys, sloths, and birds. Overall, would recommend and had such a great time at the fort! Beautiful, would come back!
