A short stay in Colombo - Ahilan is a knowledgeable and personable driver who knows Colombo well. He is professional and his command of three languages — Sinhala, Tamil, and English — is an additional asset.

To recommend - Recommended. Also for small children. The meeting point is a bit far away if you arrive by boat. About 3km. It was also a bit of a challenge to find it from the port, but everything worked out wonderfully. Perhaps the driver can come to meet us after arrangement. Friendly driver and everything worked out with the booking. We would do it again instead of booking someone on the street.

Curated experience by Mr Ahilan - Thankyou to my tuk driver Mr Ahilan, who did a wonderful job of taking me around Colombo city. He was a thorough professional, warm, knowledgeable and an engaging conversationalist. He made sure to always check in, ensured I was comfortable, and customised the ride as we went around to cater to my interests. Would recommend him to all those interested to take a quick tour around Colombo to sensitise yourself to the culture and its people.
