You’ll be met by your guide at your hotel in either Colombo or Galle for pick-up. Once at Yala National, a Four Wheel Jeep will be waiting, where you’ll switch from a Private Air Conditioned Vehicle. Your trip to the National Park begins from here. The vehicle is devoid of any obstructions, offering a full view of the Park’s flora and fauna. Choose between a morning safari at 5:00 am or an afternoon one at 2:30 pm, each lasting roughly 3 hours. As you tour, you may spot Leopards, Elephants, Sloth Bears, Wild Water Buffaloes, Fishing Cats, Wild Boars, Crocodiles, and multiple bird species. During the ride, disembark at Patanangala for a beachside break and at the Menik River’s bank. After spending close to three hours on safari, you will be brought back to your hotel.
