Loved our day @ Fripp! - From start to finish had a fabulous day visiting Fripp Bodega. Arrangements thru Viatar with Ryan providing communication and guidance for our short visit. Fabian picked us up at the hotel and we had a lovely drive thru the countryside with an interesting history provided along the way. Loved our time at the winery, small family run with a short tour of the operations. Have been to many wineries, and this was charming. The wine and lunch was delicious. Several wines all unique and plenty to taste. The food was equally delicious. Naps were required following our day drinking and eating! Highly recommend.

Amazing - Amazing experience! We had a fantastic guide and the winery is beautiful ! All wines we tasted were so good and the food which is home made was delicious Would definitely recommend!

Excellent day at the winery. - Loved the wine lovers tour. We got to see the workings a a family winery followed by an excellent 3 course lunch and of course we got to try many excellent wines. Our guide Fabian was great, very knowledgeable on all thing Uruguay and speaks English very well.

Boutique winery, wonderful food, stunning vistas - Great fun. So much more than wine. Fabian is a guide and host that made us feel welcomed on arrival, Ryan from The Wine Experience was a terrific communicator and even offered tips for coffee and cocktail spots. Now for the wine. Fripp boutique winery was our destination and its wine was delicious as was the beautifully prepared lunch. Bernice ( an owner) gave us our tour and even let us sample grape varieties. A peaceful, tranquil and delicious experience. Arrive thirsty and with an appetite. Also a beautiful way to see a bit of Uraguay !

Beautiful day trip to Uruguay - It was easy to book the tour, Viator gave us a last minute hiccup thankfully they contacted me to confirm if really cancelled my booking and all that was easily resolved. The pick up was seamless and Fabian our driver and guide was excellent. He told us a lot of information about uruguay culture, way of life, education system etc. We were so impressed on what he shared that we are all considering retiring in Uruguay. He is so knowledgeable that we all agreed he could easily be the tourism ambassador for Uruguay. The winery tour was nice, it was nice to see how a small family winery is run. It was a private tour because we did the tour with a different staff (english speaking) versus a big group that came in. I think this made the biggest difference as it felt more personal. It was a good day of drinking and eating. We were never rushed and everything was at our pace. I highly recommend this with a day tour to colonia del sacramento. I have already recommended it to some friends who plan on visiting in the future.

Excellent tour - Really great experience overall! Excellent communication. Shortly after booking we received a whatsapp message from one of the tour operators. He got all of our arrival details and was very helpful in explaining everything. We took the ferry from Buenos Aires, and our host met us directly at the terminal. From there we drove to the countryside to an amazing family-run winery where we got a tour of the property. We got to learn about the varietals they grow, including Tannat of course. This was followed by an outstanding meal upstairs in their dining room, with an unobstructed 270 degree view of the area. Here we got to sample a number of the wines they produce, which paired wonderfully with the meal. Our guide was a native of Colonia whose knowledge of Uruguay, wine and Colonia seemed limitless! Would highly recommend. Cheers

Loved this Tour and Experience!! - I cannot say enough good things about our tour! Andres was an amazing guide! During our time in Uruguay he taught us so much about the country and was so knowledgeable. The winery was beyond gorgeous and both the wine and food were delicious! I give this tour a 12/10 - so so so great! We cannot wait till visit Uruguay again!

Amazing Tour! So Glad We Booked! - Andres was our tour guide and was absolutely phenomenal! He was so knowledgeable and with our time in Uruguay with him we learned so much about the country! Great Wine Day from Colonia - Great day trip from Colonia. So nice to get out into the country side and spend time at a beautiful little winery. Good food and wine. Ryan was great for organizing and Fabian was a great guide. Thank you for a memorable experience. Highly recommended.
