- Colorado Springs - The tour offers great vistas of Colorado Springs, Cheyenne Canyon, and the Eastern plains of Colorado. The 17-mile ride starts at St. Peter’s Dome overlook and follows the Historic Gold Camp Road. The route is on an old railroad bed used for transporting gold at the turn of the century. We will descend on Mtn. Bikes through beautiful aspen and pine forests, old railroad tunnels, and rock formations that will take your breath away.

Jeep tour up the famous Old Stage Road to St Peters Dome View point
17 Mile (Down hill) bike ride from 9690’ to the AOW bike depot on a historic railway bed.
Suitable for most abilities. The Route is mostly loose gravel and rock, awesome railroad tunnels and a paved road.
- If you are an experienced rider, you will consider this an intermediate adventure
- If you are low on experience but high on adventure, this will be an advanced ride
- If you have never ridden a bike before, this may not be the adventure for you

gold camp jeep tour - preacher gave us an amazing tour of the gold camp road! Very fun tour and insightful of the history of the mines. 10/10 would come back!

Best outdoor experience to enjoy views and have quite an amazing adventure..lots of smiles and laughs for sure - A girlfriend and I, two women over 60 by the way...took the Gold Camp Mountain Biking adventure..we had the best time! Our guide was so helpful and seemed to enjoy the adventure as much as we did! It was a truly amazing experience for us..best ever! Will definitely do it again and recommend it to others!

Couples Tour - Smokey was knowledge and entertaining. A lot of history and kept us engaged. Would recommend this tour. We were surprised how much we enjoyed the tour

Awesome team at Adventures out west!!! - We are a family of 7 ranging in age from 26 to 62 with the “elders” experienced with mountain biking while some of our children are not. This was an incredible experience. Bill, Kyle and Dr Quinn were all fantastic - fun, patient (with the different levels in experience), entertaining and helpful. The scenery was awesome and they were very willing to adapt the tour to our interests and experience levels. Highly recommend!!!

Great Colorado Springs Biking Experience - We don't normally do guided tours but wanted to ride down pikes peak with a group. We had such a good time we signed up for the Gold Camp ride also. The drivers for both rides were great - lots of local history with color. The guides we had for both rides were awesome. They tailored our rides to the experience level of the group. Would definitely recommend Adventures out West. We also did their trolley tour in Garden of the gods which was a great time.

Exciting bike ride! - We did the Gold Camp Jeep and bike ride and it was an amazing experience from start to finish! Scott was so helpful in answering all of my questions before booking to ensure we booked the right tour for our family. Charlie, Caroline and Kyle did a great job guiding us up and down the mountain and making sure we were comfortable and safe but also had fun. And they also kept us entertained with fun facts along the way. Highly recommend this tour and this company!!

Mountain Biking in the Cheyenne Mountains - This bike adventure was the highlight of our adventures in Colorado City! Our tour guides were so attentive to us and took us on a speedy 22 miles of breathtaking views on our bikes. The equipment was top notch, and we loved every minute of this tour.we had a blast and would do this again in a minute!

Rain didn’t stop us! - Weather wasn’t looking promising thunder storms all around but they assured us we would be above the clouds & rain & I'm so glad we went for it! They gave us some rain gear & gloves & the tour did not disappoint. Even supplied us with snacks on the tour & hot cocoa & cider in our return.
