• Villa Olmo - An 18th-century villa now owned by the municipality of Como, serving as a venue for conferences, painting exhibitions, and cultural and musical events.
• Villa Erba - A grand classic villa once owned by the renowned Italian film director Luchino Visconti, and a filming location for Oceans’ Twelve.
• Cernobbio - An elegant lakeside village featuring a sheltered bay that houses the majestic Villa d’Este Hotel, a symbol of luxury and sophistication. One of the world’s finest 5-star hotels, it attracts extremely wealthy visitors and world-famous celebrities.
• Moltrasio - A charming town surrounded by clear waters, home to many luxurious properties including Villa Fontanelle, formerly owned by the Versace family, and the 5-star hotel Villa Passalacqua, an 18th-century residence built by one of Como’s leading noble families, which has hosted Winston Churchill and Napoleon Bonaparte.
• Laglio - A picturesque village known for its numerous villas, including George Clooney’s famous Villa Oleandra, and the historic Cantiere Ernesto Riva, a shipyard crafting wooden boats since 1771.

The tour will continue through Brienno, Argegno, Colonno, and Sala Comacina.

• Isola Comacina - The only island on the lake, separated from the mainland by the “Zoca de l’Oli,” a stretch of clear waters perfect for swimming or enjoying a glass of prosecco in peace.
• Villa del Balbianello - One of Lake Como’s most beautiful properties, built in 1787 on a former Franciscan monastery and later inherited by the FAI (National Trust for Italy) to protect and enhance Italy’s historical, artistic, and landscape heritage. Offering dramatic views of Isola Comacina and the lake’s western shore, the villa is now a venue for private events such as weddings, ceremonies, and films like Star Wars II and James Bond 007 Casino Royale.

The tour will also include Villa Balbiano, a historic building popular for weddings and featured in The House of Gucci movie.

• Tremezzo - A picturesque village overlooking Bellagio, known for the Grand Hotel Tremezzo, a 5-star luxury hotel, and Villa Carlotta, a public villa with one of Italy’s most beautiful gardens.
• Bellagio - Dubbed “The Pearl of the Lake,” located in the lake’s center, Bellagio is famous for its narrow-stepped alleys, passages, arcades, and local craft shops. Notable landmarks include Villa Melzi, open to the public, and Villa Serbelloni, a prestigious 5-star hotel chosen by Winston Churchill, Roosevelt, the Rothschilds, J.F. Kennedy, Clark Gable, and Al Pacino.
• Varenna - A charming spot on the Lecco branch’s banks, characterized by its distinctive pastel-colored houses and narrow streets descending steeply towards the lake.
• Nesso - Known for its iconic waterfall and the Civera, a medieval bridge connecting the gorge’s two sides. A natural canyon carved by two converging rivers, where centuries of water flow have created a 200m-high waterfall, making it a marvelous swimming spot.
• Torno - A picturesque hamlet dominated by Villa Pliniana, a 16th-century historical Italian palazzo offering stunning views of the lake and surrounding mountains, and the Il Sereno hotel, designed by the world-renowned Patricia Urquiola studio, reinterpreting the rationalism of Giuseppe Terragni’s Casa del Fascio with a contemporary touch.
• Blevio - Known for its beautiful villas, including the famous Mandarin Oriental hotel, once owned by the globally renowned opera singer Giuditta Pasta, for whom Bellini wrote the lead role in La Sonnambula.
• Como - The tour concludes with Villa Troubetzkoy, built around 1850 by the eponymous Russian prince, featuring an impressive lift connecting it to the street. It is now a boutique hotel.
