Great tour -- would highly recommend! - Our guide, Fabio, made the trip a memorable experience despite the inclement weather! He was so kind, funny and knowledgeable about the history of the area, including the lake and villas. We appreciated that he shared his personal stories as a native of the area.

Take this tour - Fabio was great! He was super knowledgeable about the lake and all the estates located on it. We learned so much about the history of the city and the different properties. It was a little chilly in September - make sure you check the weather for that day. We lucked out and there was only one other couple for the day with us so it was almost like a private tour. Very fun!

Lake Como - We had an amazing day out on Lake Como hosted by Subacco. We were hosted by Luca. He was an intelligent and insightful tour guide, really easy to get along with throughout the duration of our trip.

Beautiful and Fun Tour around Lake Como - If you are looking for a fun yet relaxing boat ride around Lake Como, we'd recommend this one! Fabio (our boat captain) was not only very knowledgeable about the surrounding areas near Como, he was very friendly and funny. We enjoyed viewing many of the great villas from the water, sipped on a nice glass of Italian wine and even had a chance to swim in the lake. The tour itself was exactly two hours, enough time to relish in the beauty of the lake (boating up to Nesso) but still enough time to travel around various points on the lake. We also enjoyed getting to know the other people (two other couples) on the tour and found this to be a memorable part of the experience as well.

Best experience in Como - Great fun with our boat mates and our guide. Highly recommend the 2 hour tour, not too short not too long. Great all around! Our best experience on our short trip to Lake Como by far.

Highly recommend - We had a blast on our boat tour with Lucca. He gave a thorough tour of all the main villas within our reach along Lake Como, stopped and offered to take pictures, served wine, and was an all around wonderful guide for our lovely afternoon on the lake. The boat tour was the highlight of our stay in Como!

Fun with a Few Tips - It was a fun trip, although the boat is a bit small. Luckily there were only 3 couples. The captain was relatively friendly and provided us with good information about the villas and houses around the lake. Very interesting to see all of them and learn a little about each. The swim was nice, although a little short and we could have used something to float with. Also, we wasted 20 minutes just off the dock filling out paperwork, while we could have done this beforehand. It wasn’t really a two hour tour.

Great! But you may get bumped if they overbook! - The boat trip was great! The reason for the four star is because of the owner/manager overbooked the tour and did not call us. Waited until we arrived to let us know that he couldn’t accommodate us for the allotted time. When we asked why we were not notified before we arrived his response was to be quiet. When we tried to talk to another boat operator to go at the time we wanted (instead of waiting three hours for the next tour), the tour representative yelled at that other boat operator not to speak to us. In the end, One passenger from the group that overbooked decided not to go, which allowed us to go on the tour. Be careful they will overbook.

Great views, rushed and distracted. - We paid for 2 hours and got 1.5. We never got drinks as promised on the description. He was eating chips and talking on the phone several times during the tour. There was good views and he had funny moments , but you could tell he was not truly engaged in the tour and paying $600 to get 30 min cut off and no drinks on the boat was disappointing .
