Great experience - Great experience! We took our 3.5 year old. It was a full day, and though he was tired, he stayed engaged seeing all the animals. The coffee and chocolate was great as well. Gino was an amazing tour guide and went above and beyond. You could tell he loves his job and showing his country.

Unforgettable Experience - Michael was an amazing tour guide. He prioritized our experience and entertainment over sticking strictly to the schedule. He went out of his way to point out various difficult to spot animals like howler monkeys, a tapir, sloths, and toucans. My wife and I came here on our honeymoon and this was our first time visiting the country. The two animals we wanted to see the most were spotted so effortlessly. He also had an experienced helper during the rain forest part of the tour who provided lots of information and took incredible photos for us using the binoculars and our cellphones. Definitely recommend!!

A fun and informative day - Michael was our tour guide and was so knowledgeable about Costa Rica. I learned so much about the history of the country, the agriculture, the education system and especially nature. He took time to stop along the way to show us interesting sites, such as the monkeys in the trees and to sample the sweetest pineapple I have ever tasted in my life. Our first stop was a koala sanctuary. He helped us see the koalas in the trees, their natural habitat, and taught us all about the two types of koalas and their behaviors, such as their diets and their symbiotic relationships with a certain type of poisonous frog. He has such a sharp eye that he was able to identify multiple toucans in the trees as well as poisonous frogs and a beautiful gold snake that I would’ve missed. He was knowledgeable about the insects, (it turns out mosquitoes have a very important function – who knew), the plants, the trees, the flowers, and all the wildlife. A naturist named Angelica also came and Provided much information on the flora and fauna on the tour. We had a delicious lunch and a group of monkeys came over in our direction playfully swinging over the branches. Michael taught me how to call out to the monkeys and they answered me back! I was amazed ! There is music playing at lunch and I learned Michael was a great merengue dancer as he led me through a song! I really enjoyed the coffee and cacao Plantation. Fabian and his assistant Jennifer taught us all about how they grow and showed us the beans in both trees. In addition to being extremely knowledgeable, Fabian had a fabulous sense of humor and had us laughing the whole time. He then let us prepare our own coffee and hot cocoa. Both were delicious. I typically don’t like coffee but now I realize I was not drinking the right coffee. Coffee from Costa Rica is fabulous!. Despite the tricky driving in Costa Rica and the fact that there was a torrential rainstorm on the way home, Michael was a safe driver and I never felt at risk for a traffic accident. I cannot say enough about what a wonderful guide he is. I highly recommend this excursion and Recommend Michael as your tour guide !

10/10 magical tour - 10/10 touring experience with Michael. Our tour group had the most wonderful day. Michael is incredibly knowledgeable and great to chat with. He was wonderful at spotting wildlife everywhere and pulled over so that we could see everything and take pictures. We saw a couple of sloths, a few toucans and many monkeys. The lunch spot was great and the coffee and cacao farm was such a great stop off after lunch. He even pulled off at a local fruit stand so we could enjoy the best pineapple of my life. Highly recommend this tour. Thanks so much for your hospitality, Michael!

A magical day of chocolate, coffee and wildlife!! - Michael made the day EXTRA special for my family and friends! Pick up was timely, he was beyond personable-- extremely warm and friendly-- as I've been recommending him to all my friends back home in New York. The coffee and chocolate tour was immersive and educational as we toured the cacoa and coffee fields... Michael was able to spot TONS of wildlife for us (honestly, have no idea how he sees everything...we were staring and sometimes the animals can be feet away and you can miss them, its quite the gift) We found leaf cutter ants, 2 and 3 toes sloths, woodpeckers, tucans, poison dart frogs, basiliks, termites and their mounds, howler monkeys- and many more! Michael has innate knowledge to the jungle, and when I go back, I'd choose none other than him again. It felt like we were smack-dab in Jurassic Park at times, and everyone felt safe and at ease while we explored the depths of Guanacaste's dense jungles. He made our experience magical-- can't thank you enough Mike 🙏🏻God bless!!

Enjoying a day in beautiful Costa Rica - We saw and learned so much. Our guide, Michael was great. It was a wonderful experience, even when it rained. We learned a lot about coffee and cacao, ate delicious traditional food, walked through the rain forest and experienced a swim beneath a beautiful waterfall.

Informative - The tour was comfortable esp the transportation. Would prefer that the driver give us insights but the coffee/chocolate tour the guides are very knowledgeable and also esp the nature walk. We were just expecting that it will be a natural forest and not a family hacienda that we will go at for the sloth. We were expecting a real sloth sanctuary but we got lucky to see in person a juvenile sloth hanging at low branches compared to the old sloth that was way up on the highest tree branches. We saw 2 adult sloth using binoculars and 1 juvenile easy visibility. On the ad it says lunch at a butterfly sanctuary something but we didn’t and lunch was not that great.
