Suchitoto and Copan - This was our second tour with Josue, the first one was to suchitoto. We had a great time visiting the town, walking around and having lunch at a hacienda. My wife and I were more impress with Josue and the history behind what we saw, the Salvadoran background from the educational and health care system to overall life in this beautiful country. With the second tour to Copan, the drive was long but the experience was unique. The ruins were so different from other Mayan sites. Because where Copan is situated, we were too close not to visit and we wouldn’t have another chance. Thank you Josue

Highly recommend this adventure in Honduras - I had a great experience with Josué! The trip is a bit long, but very worth it to see beautiful scenery and the Mayan ruins. Josué used the drive to share information about Central American history. Everything went smoothly with transportation and border crossings, and once in Honduras I enjoyed a great tour of the Copán Ruinas with an incredibly knowledgeable guide who had devoted 35 years to studying the site. Once that was finished, I enjoyed a delicious Honduran lunch, visited some souvenir shops, and had a great coffee and dessert from a local coffee shop. The only slight disappointment was that the chocolate shop we had planned to visit was closed, but I comforted myself with a guava tart from the coffee shop ;) Highly recommend this tour to enjoy more of Central America, especially if you get to travel with Josué!

A day in Copán - The journey to Copán was long but totally worth it. In our case we knew we weren’t going to visit Honduras separately in our Central American journey so this trip was perfect small visit to the country and amazing Copán ruins! The border crossings were smooth and me and my friend felt safe all through out the trip although we had our concerns about going to Honduras as young female travellers. Truly recommend this trip and the tour operator!

Excellent - We had a wonderful time. The drive is long but we felt the experience was worth it. Both of our guides David and Yovani (at the site) were excellent and knowledgeable. Copan was beautiful...the nature and history.

Copán Ruins - Awesome experience! The Copán Ruins were really great to see and was surprisingly big. The drive was long but pretty smooth, you’re totally able to sleep in the car. The tour was small so we felt we were attended to adequately by the guide. Border crossing was also a breeze with the help of the tour guide even with our limited Spanish. Be aware that you’ll get your passport stamped quite a few times (5-6) during this trip so make sure you have at least 2-3 pages free for stamps!

Well worth the drive to Copan! - Had an amazing trip to the Mayan ruins in Copan! Yes it is a long drive….. about 4 1/2 hours each way, but the ride through all three countries (El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras) was beautiful. Our guide Josué was outstanding and made the trip go smooth. His knowledge of the area and of the Mayan culture was incredible. Very comfortable van and border crossings went without any issues. I would highly recommend this tour!!

El Salvador and Copan Ruins Five Stars - We highly recommend El Salvador Positive Tours. They were responsive and accommodating to all our request. We were fortunate to have Gaby as our tour guide for this full day tour to Copan. The drive is very long - about 5.5 hours each way. But, it was well worth it. Gaby was an amazing driver and tour guide. During this excursion you must cross multiple countries and Gaby took care of all the logistics and made it seamless. Gaby was kind, funny, knowledgable and passionate about her country. Her English was perfect. She's a great photographer to help capture the moments. If you are thinking about visiting El Salvador and/ or the Copan Ruins DO IT! and when you do we recommend you use El Salvador Positive Tours. Thank you Gaby!

Stunning ruins and lovely tour guide - The Copan ruins are absolutely stunning! 😍 Our tour guide, Gaby, made the drive very comfortable. She stopped whenever we needed to and made the border crossing super simple. She took us to lunch at the most amazing, family owned restaurant. The best part was she explained el salvadors past and answered all of our questions. Highly recommend this trip and if tour lucky enough, you'll have gaby as your guide.

Excellent day trip to Copán - This was such an interesting and worthwhile tour! Gaby was the best guide and I enjoyed learning all about El Salvador from her. El Salvador is definitely a hidden gem! The tour is long but totally worth it. The macaws were beautiful at Copán. Border crossings were easy, too.
