Highlights
  • Colbjørnsensgade 15 - This is the street for the meeting point! The address is: Colbjørnsensgade 15, 1652 Copenhagen V. We meet by the shop, “CPH Tours & Tickets.”

In this stop, we will introduce the Vesterbro neighbourhood. You will learn about Tivoli, trains, and Carlsberg.

  • Copenhagen Central Station - Central stations are the heart of every city. We will walk through Copenhagen Central Station, which was built in 1911, and show you some details of the building.
  • Istedgade - Right next to the heart of the city: the red-light district. We will stop in front of Spunk Bar and provide a beer sample. This street is the hub of pornography, hookers, and homeless people.
  • Mikkeller Bar - At this stop, we will share with you about this Danish craft brewery, founded in 2006. We will sample some Mikkeller beers, and talk about the gyspy brewer taking the Copenhagen beer scene by storm.
  • Stjerne Radio - In a street imbued with history, at this stop you will learn about the Danish resistance movement in World War II. We will also talk about the beer brand, Evil Twin. The history also inspires street art to this day, and we will see some examples.
  • Sønder Boulevard - This street is always teeming with people in the summer time, when the sun is shining. When it isn’t, its the hub for bodega living, Tuborg Classic, and Danish movie villains.
  • Meatpacking District, Copenhagen - Historical meat-packing district– turned nightlife and food hotspot, and get the best recommendations of where to go out or eat. You will see and learn about the Brown and White Meatpacking Districts within this area.

We will also pass by WarPigs– a heavy metal and American style brewpub.

  • ABEN Brewery, Tank Bar & Restaurant - This is our ending point, where you can continue drinking, with beers being produced right from the brewery, located behind the bar! At this stop, we will provide you further recommendations to experience within Vesterbro or other neighbourhoods in Copenhagen.

Redheaded Stepchild of a Tour Guide - If you are looking for a second rate redheaded stepchild of a tour guide, look no further than Martin. His lack of medication and dad jokes really carried the day.

Very good, would rate it stars - Tipsy Macaulay Culkin (Martin) kept swiping my beer the entire tour and screaming about prostitutes but unfortunately I changed professions some time ago. Anyways, tour was lovely.
