Highlights
  • Av. de Colón, 4 - Welcome! Enjoy an ecological whale watching adventure in the south of Tenerife. We have been working for more than 29 years in the navigation with passengers and in the observation of cetaceans. Our goal is to show our clients dolphins, whales and other marine fauna in their natural habitat, in addition to conserving and protecting the marine environment. It is the holder of the “Blue Boat” flag, a boat authorized by the Tourism Department of the Government of the Canary Islands and by the Spanish Ministry of the Environment for whale watching activities, we are also attached to the Tenerife Tourism Quality Charter . We carry out our activity in the Special Conservation Zone (ZEC) Teno-Rasca marine strip integrated into the Natura 2000 Network.
What's Included
  • Expert guide on board
  • Hydrophone access to hear whales and dolphins
Additional Information

We set out from the fourth pier at Puerto Colón, embarking on a journey in pursuit of cetaceans. Our voyage takes us into the Teno-Rasca special conservation territory, as far as three miles offshore where the water depths reach one thousand meters. We are in search of the tropical Calderón, a primary resident species of Tenerife. From the moment we start moving along the coastline, there are opportunities to spot dolphins, turtles, and seabirds right away. If fortunate, we might also spot some migratory cetaceans that visit the Canary Islands. We maintain a respectful distance as we observe, photograph, and film these creatures. Our crew takes pleasure in providing explanations and sharing the knowledge we possess about the cetaceans found aboard our vessel.

Bonadea - It was fantastic. Professionally, Sergio our captain knew what he was talking about and explained everything about the animals and surroundings. There was plenty of room for questions, enjoy and enjoy everything! The animals were treated with great respect, so as not to disturb them. Resting animals stayed resting on arrival, that says a lot! Happy with this tour.

EXCELLENT, Pro and Close - An experience full of care for cetaceans, explaining the importance of protecting what we have, with the familiar proximity of ours and without losing sight of how important it is to keep your distance, in explaining the behaviors seen, in trying to contribute well either by collecting plastics that give warning for the sighting of a pallet or a different bird in the area. An experience in EXCELLENCE

Unforgettable experience - A wonderful excursion in which we could see dolphins, turtle, seabirds and be informed at all times about each species by Sergio the captain. A very respectful person with marine fauna and very committed to the environment. We collected plastic from the sea. Amazing, exciting, 100% recommended!!!!

Wonderful experience in cetacean sighting. - We felt very fortunate to have decided to hire the excursion in Banadea II, and that it was Sergio the Captain. The previous day they communicated with me to provide me with all the details of arrival at the port (photos, parking, location , road condition...) which I greatly appreciated. The boat is legally registered and its involvement with respect and marine care is absolute. The excursion was wonderful, we could observe the residents Calderon and Dolphin common and Dolphin listed. Sergio, the captain, gave us continuous explanations of the customs and behaviors of the animals. His kindness and generosity mean that, if we return, we do not hesitate to repeat with him the experience. Thank you so much!!!

Excellent tour and guide - An amazing experience! We were lucky enough to see three different species of dolphins, and as an added surprise, Sergio, our Guide, approached the rescue ship to observe a sea turtle they had saved. Their knowledge and experience were key to enjoy the sighting, always with great respect for the fauna. Sergio made the tour educational, exciting and very special. Highly recommended!

During Tenerife Holiday - Absolutely wonderful few hours. We were in a group of max. 6 people on a small boat. Sergio was very friendly, knowledgable and passionate about the animals. We went out in between the big boats going out so we were the only boat near the 3 different pods of pilot whales we saw. Sergio also showed us photos and assigned names of specific whales showing how long they had been viewing those types of whales over the years. Sergio was also very eco-conscious and during the ride, if he spotted plastic in the sea, he headed over and requested help to pull the plastic from the sea to be disposed of correctly. The experience was thoroughly enjoyable and I would definitely book again and recommend to others.

Magical encounters - An amazing tour. Welcomed by Sergio and given safety briefing before heading out for the tour. Sergio is very knowledgable and passionate about the ocean and the health of its wildlife. We stopped a few times to pick up plastic debris before locating a dolphin pod who we travelled with for some time, very low/no engine to ensure our impact was as minimal as possible. Truly magical encounter, listened to pod using hydrophone before moving away. Also saw pilot whale in distance and turtle. Definitely recommend.

Wonderful. - Great experience, there were 6 of us (3 adults and 3 children aged 2,6 and 7) and the boat is perfect for a family that wants to respect the sea and the marine environment, as opposed to boat trips with loud music and a hundred people on board. Sergio super nice, we saw both dolphins and whales. Wonderful experience 🥰

Responsible tourism, an ethical alternative to contemplate animals in their natural habitat. - Responsible tourism, an ethical alternative to contemplate animals in their natural habitat as well as contributing to free the ocean of plastic. An encounter with dolphins, calderones and even turtles respectful and natural, away from the crowded and commercial. Thank you to Sergio for sharing his knowledge and love of the ocean.
