Excellent Adventures and Customer Service - My wife and I booked Tico Adventures Tours for two excursions: the boat tour in Palo Verde with lunch at Rancho Los Coyotes, and the Llanos de Cortes Waterfalls, with lunch an animal tour in Bijagua de Upala. On the boat tour, we saw pretty much every animal minus the Jaguar, and the boat guide had eagle eyes and saw everything. The lunch at Rancho Los Coyotes was fantastic. The waterfalls were awesome for a swim and great for quality souvenirs, and we saw many sloths and some cool nature in Bijagua. We worked both times with Cristian, and he was great. Fun, communicative, informative, safe (he drove a lot for this!) - all things you want in a guide. Also, he used his network to get us cheaper tickets to zip lining and horse back riding, things my wife and I did on our own. We showed up to those places, and everything was taken care of. I highly recommend working with Cristian and his team!

Relaxed Eco-Culture Tour - Our experience was very good; the guide was pleasant and stopped at a cute little cafe in Santa Cruz on the way, which has a good selection of pastries and coffee. He also stopped a few times to explain some of the sights and allow for extra pictures. We enjoyed the boat tour; the Captain made every effort to get us up close to the crocodiles, monkeys, and various birds. Our lunch at the Coyote Ranch was a tasty casados-style lunch that even my kids enjoyed. At the ranch there were a few demonstrations as well, including pottery making and sugar cane extraction with tasting. Overall, a nice eco/cultural experience for our family. Thank you!

Beautiful tour on the river with excellent guide Christian - Christian picked us up in a comfortable van with ac. We drove to the boat tour and he allowed us stops as needed. The boat tour was very good with our own private tour. We saw howler monkeys, white faced capuchin monkeys, crocodiles and many types of herons. Although it was a hot day, we were always comfortable. Lunch was delicious at a local farm. We learned about the pottery as well and saw many farm animals, iguanas and a peacock.
