Highlights
- Poas Volcano - We will take the Pan-American Highway towards the city of Alajuela. In route we will go by the Agriculture Monument, the Monument to Juan Santamaria and the famous Mango Park. As we ascend towards the volcano we will stop for a brief explanation of our golden bean,the coffee and then continue our trip through fern, flower and strawberry farms. There is a noticeable change in temperature and vegetation, preparing us for the pleasure of the exuberant cloud forest of Poas Volcano.

We will pick you up from your hotel at San Jose, Heredia or Alajuela, to visit the majestic Poas Volcano for them go for a delicious typical lunch, after take a break we will start the trip to the exotics La Paz Waterfalls, after if it is not enough we will go for educational and interesting coffee tour, one of the principal economical products of Costa Rica

Experiencia increíble - Es un tour muy completo con un montón de cosas super interesantes que ver y hacer. Nuestro conductor Carlos fue muy atento y amable. Si tienes tiempo para hacerlo no lo dudes.

Great Intro to Costa Rica - This tour was a perfect introduction to Costa Rica’s stunning nature and rich coffee culture. I highly recommend! The tour started with a 7:30 am pick up by Carlos, our driver and tour guide. We started out by visiting Hacienda Alsacia, the Starbucks coffee farm in Costa Rica. We then moved on to Poaz Volcano, but the visibility was very low due to fog. Carlos assured us he’s never missed the volcano when taking his groups out, and true to his word, we got some glimpses of volcanic activity before the fog returned and our 20-minute viewing time ended. The highlight of the tour was the Mi Cafecito farm visit, which included a traditional Casado lunch, coffee after lunch, and a demonstration on coffee production. Luna the dog then led us on a short jungle trek towards Congo Waterfalls, where we spotted monkeys amidst the lush greenery. Great day.
