Great way to experience the city - Our tour guide Robbie was wonderful. Personable and full of interesting facts and tales! This was a great way to see the city and understand the different areas of Dublin. This would be really good to do when you first arrive, to give you a good sense or things.

Witty and knowledgeable tour guide on a safe flat route - We loved our cycle tour with Robbie. He was engaging, extremely knowledgeable, witty and fun. Throughout the tour he invited questions from anyone if they had specific questions. The tour lasted apx 2.5 hours and was almost entirely along the flat. The longest stretch between stops was apx 1km. It was a relaxed pace on comfortable bikes, mostly on cycle paths. We felt safe. The group was fairly large and consisted of people with varying abilities - all capable of the tour. If we got split up at traffic lights Robbie would stop until they caught up but never long stops and didn't detract from the tour experience. We were lucky with the weather but carried waterproofs just in case. The bikes had boxes or baskets for carrying items if required. At the end of the tour Robbie was happy to suggest other places/areas to visit to anyone who asked. I wouldn't hesitate recommending this tour.

Small Group Tour with Rob on a sunny Sunday - We booked a small group tour with Rob. We all thoroughly enjoyed it as Rob was witty, knowledgeable, informative and fun. Rob brought centuries of Dublin and wider Irish history to life in a really engaging way. We all found the bikes comfortable and easy to ride too. (Dan Nickols and Friends).

Crowded tour with only a little biking - James was a great guide but the group size was just too large. We had 13 people in our group and there were two more groups from this same company (of similar size) that were at the same time. We went to all the same spots, which made some of them feel very crowded. The amount of biking was also much less than other bike tours I’ve taken in other cities. We would bike for 2-4 minutes (with a stop in between to wait for half the group that got stuck at a red light) then have a 10 minute stop to go over something, then a few more minutes of biking and another stop. It would have just been a lot easier to walk the tour route. We probably would have covered close to the same amount of stops in the same amount of time. The bikes just made things a bit more complicated.
