Additional Information

We kick off our journey near St. Stephen’s Green at The Rolling Donut, a classic doughnut shop in Dublin. Our trip progresses to George’s Street, passing the renowned Luke Kelly statue, where we’ll indulge in some Viking history and tales of Dublin Castle. Next, we satisfy our sweet tooth with some quintessentially Irish churros. Don’t be fooled by the name; these churros aren’t native to Dublin yet are incredibly tasty. Crossing the picturesque River Liffey offers a delightful sight as we head to our third halt at the Hot Donut shop. A stroll back on O’Connoll Street will showcase historical narratives of the 1916 Rising. Ultimately, our final destination is OffBeat Donuts located on Westmoreland Street. We eagerly await your presence on this doughnut journey.

We are excited to welcome you soon!

Our Wonderful Tour Guide Made All the Difference - With Angelica it was a fun and interesting walking tour! She created a relaxed vibe on the tour that made it easy to ask her questions and to laugh with her. Lots of interesting history was offered...about the Vikings, Michael Collins, progressive LGBTQ rights in Ireland and the George, the Beatles, the Hags with the Bags statue, and more. And I got a tip for a pub I'm now going to visit! Angelica regarded those of us on the tour as her welcome guests and treated us that way. Before taking the tour I didn't get the reason for donuts...but they did add a lot of fun and excited anticipation for our next tasty stop. One thing I noticed that Angelica didn't point out or joke about was the presence of a blood donor clinic next to the wax museum and a statue of count Dracula. It seems however that I'm not the first to notice: https://www.linkedin.com/posts/catherinehartmann_andy-kellypeter-oleary-who-did-this-activity-7117082182073905152-M3QD A fun and interesting tour I would recommend to friends visiting Dublin!
