Scenic Ireland by train & road - We did the Ring of Kerry Tour which was a combination of train & bus taking us to the scenic south of Ireland. We started by train from Dublin, had to change a train & get off @ Killarney. From where we board a bus, do the Ring of Kerry & return to Killarney. We were throughout with a guide called Ian who knew his history & facts. A truly scenic part of Ireland worth seeing. It's a hectic 13hr tour but well worth it.

He made sure we made our connections and was really great about keeping us together. Beautiful Ireland! - Memorable and enjoyable tour of Southern Ireland and the Ring of Kerry. Guides were very friendly and informative. I am still wanting to learn more about the lovely Irish people and the tragic history they had to endure.

Friendly, funny, local guides in beautiful countryside! - Fantastic day out seeing the country with friendly, local, knowledge guides. Our driver Batty was a local and had so many interesting tales to tell. It made the long day on the bus so interesting! And our Rail Tours guide John Todd was a cuddly teddy bear to be sure! Such a wonderful guide - you can really see he loves his job and he made the day special for us. Only downside was the long day on the bus and train. But the guides make it worth it!

John and Batt made this trip awesome!! - Brilliant day trip with JOHN and BATT - our tremendous Guide and Driver. John was a wealth of knowledge and Batt was one of the best Irish story tellers I have come across. Highly recommend this day trip. It was a long day but it flowed seamlessly because both of these gentlemen were so professional and organized. In a sea of so many of these trips, just book this one!

Ring of Kerry, a most do! - This was an awesome tour! I added it last minute and so happy I did. The bus driver was unbelievable the roads are windy and narrow but he drove with ease, all whiling telling us yhe history of some much we saw. The best surprise was the add of the sheep dog hearding stop to the tour! I highly recommend doing this evening though it is an added cost it is money well spent. The your was beautiful and full of history.

A great day from start to finish! - We had a great time on this tour! The train travel was easy and Peter kept us all on schedule while providing the right level of interaction on the somewhat long train ride. Once off the train and on the bus, Tim our driver and Andrew our bus guide were excellent. We felt well looked after and well informed. The stops were all worthwhile and with the need to get back to the train station in time it never felt like we were rushed. This ended up being a high point of our trip!

Irish beauty, long day - We covered a lot of ground on this tour. From the train to the coach, we got all the way from Dublin to a very scenic area in the southwest. The beauty of Ireland is epic. Our guide on the bus was informative, and the hosts for the train ride and transfers, especially Richard, were lovely. It was a long day, and we were exhausted by the time the train back to Dublin. But I took so many photos of the coast, the lakes, the mountains and more. I'll be painting many of the scenes. Killarney and Sneem are beautiful. Our girls (and we) loved the sheepdog demo. So special and worth the extra few Euros (they're generous for families, allowing the kids in for free. The shepherding community is so unique, and we learned a lot about agriculture and more on the history of Ireland, positive as well as dark. Our only complaint was the place we stopped for lunch. It was forced, and the food wasn't good. Nice view thiugh. More time at a few stops would have been nice but I understand the need for promptness. I still can't believe how people drive buses on these tiny roads. But we came out without a scratch. If you're willing and have the energy for a long yet beautiful day, this is a wonderful tour. We had nice weather besides the wind. Just pack a sweater.
