- Carraholly - Relish breathtaking views of Clew Bay and its charming islands while horseback riding along the beach, with the sacred Croagh Patrick mountain in the backdrop. These rides are designed for those with little to no experience. Before heading out for a leisurely walk on the serene roads of Carrowholly that lead to the open shores of Clew Bay, instruction is provided in the arena. When passing by “The Seals Rock,” try not to disturb the seals as they lounge on the rocks. As you ride along the shoreline, you will see Dora Inch Island, once owned by John Lennon of the Beatles. These rides offer an introduction to horseback riding and are a fantastic way to experience the stunning coastline of Clew Bay.
This trek is suitable for riders of all levels, from beginners to advanced. A brief assessment will be conducted before departure, with up to 2 guides accompanying the group depending on its size and experience level.

Great place for horse-riding! - Great place, lovely people and nice horses! The scenery was breathtaking and the staff was positive and helpful. Definitely recommend!

Horseback in clew bay - This activity was great! We had a real adventure. Great views, an excellent guide, Helena. We had a wonderful time. Our horses, Daisy and Big Mic were gentle and beautiful. Would definitely recommend to other travelers.

Amazing experience! We will be back:) - Such an amazing experience!! We planned it out so that we wouldn’t have a wet day although with the weather in Ireland that might just be inevitable. Our guide Helena was great at showing us the ropes as beginners and made good conversation along the way. We were able to go in the water and go for a trot but had the option not too if we felt uncomfortable. Will definitely be back!

Scenic trail ride - This was a lovely, scenic ride through the countryside outside Westport. I was pleasantly surprised that they encouraged even the novices to get up into a trot for some portions and that we got to traverse a shallow bay.

Ride of a lifetime - I’ve always dreamed of riding in the ocean; this ride exceeded my expectations. The owner and trail guides were wonderful, and the horses were just great. It was a wonderful experience.

A big highlight during a three-week trip to Ireland - A wonderful experience to ride through Mayo on horseback. I would gladly do it again anytime. Halina is a great tour guide who knows the area very well and has lots of interesting things to tell.

Fantastic horse riding experience - Great experience. The instructors are really friendly and knowledgeable. They could sense my nerves and provided a lot of reassurance and encouragement. My friends and I had a great time! It’s really worth doing if you are near by.

Great experience :-) - The crew is super friendly and very helpful.
The animals all seem very happy and are very easy to lead.
This tour is perfect for beginners and inexperienced people.
Not recommended for professionals who want to let off steam.
