Additional Information
This tour includes pick-up from your cruise ship port, airport, or hotel room, as well as a narrated tour of the west side of the island on the way to one of the best beaches not only in Roatan but in Central America as recently rated. Once at the beach, following a short boat ride to the coral reef, we’ll take you on a one hour snorkelling tour with all snorkel equipment included. If you are not comfortable swimming you can just relax on the boat and enjoy the sights surrounded by crystal clear blue waters of the Caribbean.
After the snorkel trip, we will bring you back to the beach so that you enjoy the rest of your day relaxing and basking in the sun.
The beach is equipped with clean washrooms and showers and beach chairs are provided. Just bring a towel and sun lotion. If you don’t have them or forgot them on the cruise ship, no worries, you can purchase them from the local beach store.

Gorgeous area! - This was terrific! I don’t snorkel but my husband does & I was able to stay on the boat & watch—not a hardship because it was gorgeous! The beach was great, the food was great, the drinks were great, the snorkeling (according to my husband) was amazing. Our tour guide could have been more enthusiastic but overall this was a wonderful excursion!

Jeff was awesome! - Jeff met us as we were disembarking the ship, and we had a short walk to his vehicle. He drove us to the beach resort and escorted us in. He hung out while we swam and lounged. When we were ready for snorkeling, he drove us to the boat. Another couple guys took us out and guided us along the reef. Afterwards, we asked Jeff to take us to a restaurant where locals dine, and he took us to an awesome restaurant which we greatly enjoyed. Thanks, Jeff!

Perfect excursion full of local flairs and flavors. Informative and FUN! - Michael picked us up right outside the port and made us feel super welcomed. As we drove through the rolling hills, Michael gave us a run down of all the activities you can do while on the island and of course, a brief history of Roatan and its natural beauty. He dropped us off at a private beach resort at West Beach first and we swam around a bit and got a snack before heading to snorkeling at the West Bay.
If you are prone to sea sickness, I would highly recommend taking some motion sickness pills, patches, or even the sea bands. Since you are out at open sea, it can get choppy with all the other boats around.
BUT, the snokeling was absolutely amazing. Our boat tour guide used bread to lure some schools of fishes around us and we got some incredible videos and photos of them coming right up to us. The coral reef was breathtaking. Definitely a must-see when you visit Roatan.
All in all, Michael got us to and from excursions on time and provide incredible service throughout the trip. I wouldn't hesitate booking with him again!

Amazing Day! We love Roatan! - Our favorite tour on the island! Beautiful snorkeling and beach trip. Our driver Michael warmly welcomed us and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great day! He was flexible and made us comfortable, which we sincerely appreciated! The activities were great, but Michael helped to make this a very memorable trip!

Amazing!!! - Our snorkeling tour with Roatan adventure was amazing!! We had Michael and William as our guides who were both really knowledgeable and helpful. Michael made us feel extremely comfortable, gave us tips for the rest of our trip, and was very flexible/ patient with us. We couldn’t have had a better time! 🙂

Perfect Cruise Excursion! - We booked the snorkel and beach days with Roatan Adventure Tours. The price was reasonable and we saved a lot of money by not booking through the cruise. This was very organized. Our driver was waiting for us just outside of the cruise terminal - we had been given very specific directions on where to meet. Our group of 10 had a private driver for the day. We went to Bananarama Beach Resort where we had to pay $10 CASH per person to get in. Resort is probably a generous name for this place. It had an outdoor restaurant and they provided a lounge chair per person. Wifi was also included, but it hardly worked. We did order the coconut shrimp and they were so delicious and delivered right to our lounge chairs. We had our own boat and went out snorkeling for two hours. The water was beautiful and a perfect temperature. We some some cool fish and had a great time. The vendors were pretty relentless on the beach, so be prepared! We finished off our day at a little petting zoo place. The kids all said that was their favorite part of the day. We got to hold birds, sloths and monkeys!

Outstanding day! - What a fantastic day, Ron met us at the gate and took us on a fabulous adventure. We snorkeled, played at the beach, ate and zip lined all in one day. We will definitely book again when we get back to Roatan next!

So relaxing - There was a passive protest going on in the road on the way, so we had to take an alternate route. What an adventure! We had a nice, delicious outdoor lunch. A parrot walked over to me and sat on my hat on my head. We went snorkeling and felt very safe in the water. There was lots to see. Bring a towel because the tour doesn't provide any. Afterwards, there was time to zipline or nap in the shade. The beach was not very crowded. It was a lovely day.

Not as described - Though our guide was accommodating, our main goal which was snorkeling, was left to the end of our excursion and felt very rushed. It was not at the reef that was advertised in the booking. The beach was overcrowded and definitely not a relaxing event. Granted, it was Christmas Day, but overall I was very disappointed and will not book with this company again.
