We thought Jose was an... - We thought Jose was an excellent tour guide. He did not gloss over the Inquisition and this wad important to us because we are Jewish. He was very informative and engaging.

Very beautiful gardens - In reality, there is not much of a monument, the gardens are magnificent, there are many of them, although I recommend taking a sunny day. Admission is free but reservations must be made due to crowding.

An essential visit - A place that is worth it. Climbing the towers at dusk and watching the sun set over the river and gardens is a unique spectacle.

Alcazar tour - The tour was well-organised, with friendly staff available to point you in the right direction and headsets provided to help hear the tour guide in a bustling noisy crowd. Our guide, Azahara, was very kind and attentive. I really liked the Roman depictions of the Greek myths and the gardens modelled on Islamic design principles. Given that the Alcazar does not have as much in the way of artefacts as other monuments, it is definitely worth taking a tour like this to learn more about it's history

Excellent gardens and a well presented tour - A small number tour with a sensible guide who knew their facts and presented them well. TOP TIP: Arrive early and there are a couple of cafes round the corner from the ticket office with decent coffee and loo. There are loos in the garden but towrds the end of trip.No refreshments available in gardens

inreresting but a very short visit - Our visit lasted only 45 min for a $28 CAN fee per person which is quite expensive...not a lot to see in this site and few informations given...better advice to see Vinao palace...so disappointing and expensive visit for the price...

Fairly ordinary, so if you've seen castles before skipping this won't be the end of the world - Having visited a number of Romanesque and medieval structures there really wasn't anything special about this place. The mosaics, which were transplants from elsewhere, are slightly interesting but nothing special. If you're tight on time and you miss this, you really haven't missed much

Lost in translation. - The website said this was an English tour but once I booked the ticket it said Spanish. I contacted to confirm the situation but received no reply. We entered with the tour tickets anyway. The towers closed before we could enter them.

These rude people will throw you out at 2.30pm!! - The place is beautiful. Nothing to say. But I wonder how you can put the last entry at 2.00 pm if they then come to throw you out at 2.30 pm (and I'm not exaggerating, they escort you right outside). Among other things in a more than arrogant way. Place rating 10, staff rating -10
