Ice and snow ! - We were blessed with fine weather, no wind, snow AND ice. We could not do Hooker Valley walk due to ice on the track which made it dangerous without crampons. Sinchan our guide dropped us to Tasman glacier viewpoint. Sinchan provided a wonderful experience through facts and peaceful interludes.

Great tour to Mt. Cook - This is a great organized tour company. Prompt communication prior to our tour date. Our tour guide, Tommy, provided great commentary along the way. Bathroom breaks well planned! The hooker valley track was lovely.

Mountains, valleys, history and some welcome cafe stops - This is an excellent trip with options to stop off at a salmon fishery/cafe en route as well as hike the Hooker valley track if you are so inclined. Important information is included in the trip notes (of particular relevance if you are hiking up the Hooker Valley). You get to see a number of sights en route including Lake Pukaki (with all of its vibrant blue hues), as well as getting a good view of the mountains as you get closer to Mount Cook (if the cloud is co-operating). A comfortable van makes for an easy ride.

Great day tour - Trip to Mount Cook and the Hooker Valley walk were great as the day was sunny. The walking trail itself is well maintained and mostly goes through flat terrain, so its a very relaxing walk to the Hooker lake. I did the tour with Sinchan. He was enthusiastic, engaging and kept the whole trip interesting with information about landmarks we passed through and history of the area. He never rushed anyone through the photo stops / bathroom breaks etc and he was also very organised about pick ups and drop offs. Overall he made the experience extra fun.

Mountains and lakes - A fabulous day spent with a knowledgeable guide. We were picked up on time near our accommodation and our guide gave us a clear guide of the plan of the day ahead including stops. Throughout the drive to Mount Cook Tommy (our guide) shared his knowledge of the areas we drove through, information about the wildlife and stories linked to each stop or point of note on the way. He also shared his own experience of exploring the mountains. A thoroughly enjoyable day - thank you Tommy

Mt.Cook Hike and Day Tour from Queenstown - The day to Mt. Cook was perfect as it was sunny when we arrived. Tommy, our driver and tour guide, made the trip enjoyable from start to finish with care and professionalism. Tommy provided us with lots of great information & recommendations throughout our ride to Mt. Cook with history, facts, and personal stories that related to the trip. We made several stops along the way for breaks and pictures opportunities. Tommy was kind enough to offered everyone to take their picture for them and even provided his numbers when we left for the hike in case someone needed to call him. We got to Mt. Cook and weather was perfect. Got to witness the glacier lake and the view was amazing. Definitely recommend the hike if you can. 3 hours is plenty of time for us to get to and back from the hike. The hike took approx. 2 hours in total so plenty of time for you to enjoy at the lake as well. Recommend this tour to anyone looking to enjoy day trip to Queenstown!
