A memorable day-long adventure! - Ivan was laid back and professional, friendly and informative, very flexible and really proficient. We asked him to find us places off the beaten track, and he did a great job providing some wonderful snorkeling. He is also a kick-ass bartender and a magnificent storyteller. We highly recommend Captain Ivan!

We had an amazing time on... - We had an amazing time on the water with Ivan the boat was very comfortable and clean. We took the day to explore beaches and snorkeled around St John. Ivan was an amazing host and bartender!! also very knowledgeable of the islands and history. 10/10 would recommend we LOVED it.

Amazing trip!! A must do while visiting USVI - Our captain Ivan was outstanding! He went above and beyond to make our day memorable and fun. With our feedback, he planned the day perfectly to avoid crowds. We had amazing snorkeling and we visited beautiful beaches. Scott Beach was our favorite. We did lunch at Lime Out and it was delicious. Ivan was very attentive, always checking on us to make sure we were comfortable.

Wonderful Guide/Day trip! - Had a wonderful day with Ivan(from Vermont, USA) our guide. Been in the Islands for 12 years. Very acknowledgeable and had good history to share on the islands. Took us to several wonderful snorkeling locations and private beaches. Look him up if you are ever in St. John.

Captain Jug does it right! - Captain Jug excels in making a day on the water one of the best ever? He catered to our groups wish to swim, snorkel and relax while exploring the best St. John has to offer. He and Becca, first mate, took care of our every whim, from delicious pain killers to rafts and floating time after some excellent long snorkel/swims. His knowledge of the St. John waters and best swim spots is a real asset, along with his attention to the wind and the weather to make the day as smooth as possible. Great day exploring - This was our second time this year on Coqui with Captain Ivan. We had two great days on the water. We snorkeled all around St John and spent time at Scott beach. The kids jumped off a cliff on Thatch Cay which was really exciting for them. We stopped at the old sugar mill and hiked to the waterfall to see the petroglyphs. It was about a 20 minute walk and we saw many deer on the route! Ivan is very knowledgeable about the history of the area and with navigating the waters. He also makes a great painkiller! The boat had plenty of room for the eight of us. I highly recommend Captain Jug boat charters for your next tour.

Best Boat Day Ever- Ivan was the best captain ever!! He showed us the most incredible snorkel spots and hidden islands!! - I had my 50th bday in St John and this by far made our trip just fabulous! Ivan was the best captain showing us the best parts of the island while entertaining us with stories and facts about the island!! We snorkeled in the most beautiful spots ! He was helpful in every way from making the best rum punches to getting our gear ready !! He took us to see the best islands and we have the most wonderful day !

Best Boat Dat Ever! - Ivan was the best guide around St John! He took us to some awesome snorkel spots and made it so much fun! He took us to some hidden spots we didn’t even know about ! Ivan made sure we were safe whole having the most fun boating around the island!! Best rum punch ever! We will definitely be back !! The boat was also very comfortable and spacious and just immaculate! One of the best excursions we have ever done!

Best Excursion I’ve Ever Booked - In summary, wow! I chartered the coqui for me and my mom to circumnavigate St John, and I cannot recommend this enough. To start, Ivan, our captain, was very knowledgeable and personable and provided great recommendations for stops along the island. Additionally he makes a mean painkiller that rivaled some of the best we had in the BVI and USVI. Also, we are pretty sure Ivan paid the wild animals to come out in full force this day haha. Coqui is amazing. Very spacious and comfortable seating. Even in some of the waters that were more rough, we were very comfortable and because this is a powered catamaran style boat, even the waves aren’t that bad. Getting on and off the boat was very easy and if we ever needed help, Ivan was ready to assist. Additionally, plenty of shade, but we did not want it. The tour, wow. On this trip, we made 5+ stops around the island. Each very different and amazing. The highlights: Maho Bay: We went for turtles, which we saw, but we also saw a stingray… and wait for it…. 2 wild dolphins that wanted to play and interact with us. Wow! This made my mom’s entire trip. Round Bay: amazing bay for swimming and snorkeling around the reef. Additionally , great place for a drink in the water Lime out: my mom thought the floating taco bar was going to be overrated, but it wasn’t. They also bought lunch for Ivan which is a nice touch. We ordered the Danger cocktails (MUST ORDER) and all their tacos were delicious. My mom left and thought it was worth the hype. Just a cool place to hang out. Salt Pond Beach: Tons of turtles and a shark skimming the water. Beautiful bay for swimming or relaxing Truly an amazing full day charter. Absolutely one of the best things I’ve ever done, and I will recommend this to everyone I know and go again next time I’m in the area.
